Being from SoCal, just outside of Eelllll Aaaayy, "Letterkenny" spoke to me, I got it. There was no 'language'' or 'cultural' barriers. I could identify w/ the Degens as much as I did w/ the Hicks and the Hockey Players. I'm sad to see the show go away but I'm glad that they left on their own terms and didnt jump the shark in the process. Would love to see another spin-off or two (is: Shorsey) or maybe even a reunion show or two, too. I'm thankful that Letterkenny is still on HULU and that I have my dvds for when I start to miss one of the best written, well acted, and funniest shows in the last 30 years.
I stumbled onto Letterkenny on Hulu. I couldn’t understand half of the dialogue but I could see it was something different and special. And I live in the middle of NYC (Queens), so it’s not just a show for rural viewers. Letterkenny appeals to some universal truths.
Sad to see this show end, it was a refreshing change from the canned and boring stuff that Hollyweird continues to pump out. Quick and dry wit with a sarcastic undertone. Great season storylines that were long enough to be entertaining without turning stale. The bonus was no laugh track. So long Letterkenny, I'll enjoy this one last hurrah.
A coworker had watched the show with his wife and would talk about it at work and thought I’d enjoy it-my boyfriend and I binged the whole thing and were so sad it ended but what a phenomenal show and final season… so many shows either get canceled prematurely and the story ends abruptly (sometimes getting lucky with a fan-demanded wrap up that still feels rushed and/or incomplete) OR the show drags on way longer than it should have and you get a semi-satisfying ending but are mostly glad it’s just over. With Letterkenny, I was sad it was over but glad it happened. All of it. They managed to give a wholly satisfying ending to an enjoyable show that reached far past the borders of Canada. This and Schitt’s Creek are prime examples of prestige Canadian television permeating culture outside of Canada with humor and heart. I loved that Michelle and Tyler both spoke to how proud it made them as Canadians being on such a Canadian show.
1:55-2:08 what is said by Tyler is pretty cool. I am from the States, and I love Letterkenny, and it is refreshing to see a show with Canadians to be locals, and not pretending to be Americans, ya know? Canadians are just as proud of their country as we Americans are of ours. I've seen so many wonderful Canadian actors being "Dennis from Missouri" that is refreshing to see Canadians being full-on Canadians. I will miss this show and the wonderful cast!
The hilarious dialogue in Letterkenny transcends geography, and lets one appreciate the culture of our Northern neighbors, even from Houston Texas. It's definitely one of the most fun shows ever if you enjoy the somewhat crass humor, which is what I really appreciates about them. I look forward to seeing what MM and TJ do next! And hopefully it's something with Keeso and Tierney at the helm. I'll automatically watch anything they do from here on out. And that's a Texas sized 10-4 good buddy!
Letter Kenny bloopers are the best ever. Always fall back on those breaks when I need a real laugh. This show is the greatest. Love from a regular gent down here in the states.
It works because we can all look back and see these same groups of people in our own past. Geeks, Jocks, Band, Theatre... every town, every school, has their own social bubbles. I'm convinced that I'm what happens when a 'skid' is raised by a 'hick'. LOVE Letterkenny!!!
I will so miss Letterkenny. I live in Alabama, but can totally relate to everyone on the show (about the same is around me) and the chirping is similar to what Ive heard here. I wish they'd done at least one more season, but I understand why they didn't. You will be missed!
Never pictured myself watching this kind of show but I gave it a chance, and kinda got hooked. The weirdness and bizarreness of it intrigued me, and the fact that it was different from anything I’d watched before, kept me watching.
"That's a big Texas sized 10-4." I never thought that phrase would hold so much emotional late, but that final line by Katy NUKED me. The final arc and season final was PERFECT.
Decent series, but became repetitive quite quick. The political correctness was annoying too, so I stopped watching after 2-3 seasons. I suppose they wouldn´t receive any Government grants, unless they filled it with feminism, gays and lesbians, and advocated it simultaneously. (It is Socialist Canada, after all, where you get arrested for donating money to the Trucker Convoy, or criticising the country´s Covid hysteria. So, I suppose you have to either pander to your rulers, or not make films at all). Still, it made the show predictive, unfortunately, and eventually rather boring. The dialogue was often very good, though! I have to give them that. 🙂

It’s an iconic show in the US too. They will be missed. This show was perfection-writing, cast, music. Jared Keeso is a genius.
Allegedly
Can confirm.
Here is Wisconsin, USA, we also LOVE Letterkenny! I will definitely miss this show. I'm so happy to have had it for the time that we did!
Ditto! 🍻
Miss Katy must be wearing Squirrely Dan's coat.
Sun Darts
USA Loves Letterkenny!!!
Love their legendary comedy!! Will miss them!!
All good things must come to an end. Pitter patter at least we still have shorsey. Both shows have legs and will last a long time. Fock can they run
Love this show .... Funny funny

Google was insisting that I absolutely needed to watch this. The algorithm wasn't wrong.
I cried, I'm not ashamed to admit it, when that final scene hit.
It's always fun seeing Tyler out of character instead of full Skid mode.

Jared has a deal in place with Crave, so you'll see a lot more of him.
The last season reminded me of the first season. I’m really gonna miss y’all
There is a huge fan-base down there in us Aussies as well!
Northern Exposure + South Park = Letterkenny

Well that was rude.
Love this show
LOVE that show, sad that it's over. Canada has some great TV. I also love the cartoon show "Fugget about it".
My heart hurts now that I’ve completed the series. Truly a gem of a series.
I just finished the show and it was a great way to end it. I thought they were all going to end up apart.
I thought the same thing!

Have you watched Shoresy yet?
Oh yes, I’m all in on Shoresy too. I’m actually wearing my “Property of Sudbury Bulldogs” hoodie sweatshirt right now❤
It's so weird seeing Stewart without his Degen getup on.

Letterkenny has to go on for more seasons 12 is not enough!
Such a good show =(

Downgraded hosts....man where did Melissa go?
❤ for thé algorithme
Can't thank you enough for this incredible series. Well done.
