I started the 80s at nine years of age. Best times!! Amazing music everyday, amazing movies and TV, no social media to ruin everything and throwing everyone into depression and anxiety. New technology coming out constantly. Everything was so colorful and upbeat. Kids today may have to easier, but it's not better.
The downside: we spent all of our allowance/earnings on albums (that only had at most 3 good songs on them) and mags like haircut mags to show our stylist or Smash Hits to cut out Duran Duran photos. Nowadays teens don't buy albums (other than Taylor Swift. They can download any photo of their favorite singers/actors from Google or social media. The guy you have a crush on, he probably had an IG/TikTok account where you can watch VIDEOS of him or download photos from his accounts, rather than pretend you are going to take a photo of your BFF just as he "happens" to be in the background, and then immediately run to have the roll of film developed at Target or Fotomat. 😂😂😂😂

I was born in '84 with 3 older brothers. They passed down to me some of the best of 80s media. I do love growing up in the 90s but wish i could have experienced more of the 80s first hand. My 40th birthday this year is going to be a movie night watching 1989 Batman (the first movie i can remember seeing).
I was born in 1991 but I love the 80's music 'cause my mom always is listening the 80's hits, and my dad loves 80's films. I guess it was the best time. Nina is so amazing, I think if she had been an 80's singer, I'm sure she could be a super star like Madonna or Whitney Houston. Unfortunately the music today is a crap, I hope Nina could get the success that she deserves. Nina, I love your 80's style
You are absolutely a legend for having a huge interest of the 80s music! 😊😊😊 When the Weeknd released Blinding Lights, I thought and hoping that 2020s might bring back 1980s style music but it didn’t.
No te preocupes :33 Because I do feel the same way as you guys that if I had been born like in the 1960’s I wouldn’t be today lamenting myself of why I didn’t get to live the 80s full color like my parents did or why I wasn’t born before 1996. So, in the same way I do feel nostalgic for a decade I would have loved to have lived. But my heart and my soul will be always Gen X’er despite being a “millennial.” 😂😅
The 80’s were awesome. I remember the girls were actually girls. They were fun and like having fun. Guys were typically happy if the girls were happy! I am a graduate of 1984 , my bride is 1985 and we love life. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
My childhood was the 00’s and I grew up watching a lot of 80’s 90’s rerun shows and movies. Some of my favorite shows and movies at that time were from the 80’s. I tell people I loved a decade I’ve never been in for 2 decades❤
I think I'll always be an 80s girl ❤. People would give me so much sh** in HS during the 90s because instead of any other music I was and still am pretty much stuck in the 80s ❤❤❤. Don't regret it one bit ❤❤❤
This is what we had back then for us, 40s (was born in '79). Such a great time to live, I wish I could go back for more. Feel like I haven't had that full experience of that best era ever, it was so good, it went too fast. 😁
I'm an inch away from 40, and let me tell you...anyone who's 40 that tells you they remember everything about the 80s is full of shit, we were all ten by the end of it. People in their mid 30's to mid 40's were far more kids of the 90's than the 80's. HOWEVER...there was loads of 80's legacy stuff in the 90's and we grew up on shit like Die Hard, Goonies, etc...so there's a lot of fondness there.
like hypercatjohn said,,, those born in the late 70s wont remember anything. I was born in 64. I was 15 in 1980. I partied through the 80s.. and got married in 1989 at age 25. We remember.. and it was Honestly, the Best decade ever. People didnt get offended, our nation had American pride, we had the best in everything.. technology was Taking off. The berlin wall came crashing down.. Communism lost.. We won the gold against the UNBEATABLE russians.. it goes on and on and on and on.. We made it happen. ... I feel bad for those who didn't live those Amazing years. I will take it with me when I die.
Such a great start in A Year in the Life. I just wish she could've moved abroad and gotten out of the business like Molly Ringwald before it devoured her like so many others.
Career Opportunities is 90s but a classic!! When it comes to 80's music I consider early 90s a part of it. So many bands made great music up till '92 and occasionally '93 I always consider Leprechaun and River's Edge 80's even though they are 90s.
When I watch these movies I remember that dressing in the 80s was perhaps the best, one always tried to look clean and orderly regardless of brands or influencers, and there were a lot of clothes experimenting in youthful aspects, changing structures and shapes, something healthy
OMG Can't by me love, License to Drive, Weird Science... this weekend is going go be a legit movie binge. Mannequin is so classic too but no clips of that movie in this video. I was like three or four when alot of these came out but they would play like every week on the "movie channels" lol if you're my age you get it. My brother and sister are 5 years older so by the time I was like 10 I watched these 100 times. There is nothing like the 80's

@@CSM100MK2yes i am not an actor unfortunately ahahahah but if you talking about my nick name, the date is not my birthday but the date when i started to play the guitar. I was there when they made these movies, I enjoyed every single moment, from karate kid to back to the future to breakfast club etc etc I know what I am talking about ahahah
@@marco06061994 non sono un ingenuo, sei tu che sei un pirla che scrivi cazzate se non sei del 94 perchè lo scrivi?per sembrare piú giovane? Fallito!!

this takes me back, 80s truly the best days of my life, period, thx.
MAN THOSE WERE THE DAYS, NOTHING CAN COMPARE.
i love the synthwave genre. Been listening to it for 5+ years and you can still find bangers randomly.
Love growing up in the 80s. Kids these days will have no idea or as much fun as we did back then. What a blessing growing up in the 80s. Everything was original Not like today. Movies, candy, music, playing stickball street football and hockey and riding bikes. No kids do that now
Ever found yourself dancing and crying at the same time? Thats what happens every time i hear this song, but i can never get enough of it. I love this
Absolutely same feelings😅
Exactly same here too...Yeah it's so sentimentally sweet... I can't help but imagine my mom when she was in her 20's in the 80s, she had me when she just turned 25 in 1984
The best time of my life. I was so fortunate to have been alive in this era. The 80’s were a great time! So many memories, so much fun times. Where did it all go?
Oh man, seeing this compilation reminds me of what a great decade the 80's were. It also makes me sad to see Corey Haim and thinking how things turned out for him. :-( He actually went to my high school for a short period when he lived in Montreal.
Finished school in 1989. In 80's there was a universal feeling we are going forward, tommorow would be a better place than today.
It's true... unfortunately, we were wrong. We should have stayed in the 80's.
"OH My WORD LORD THIS Takes ME Back TO The 1980'S SO Much I'm CLass Of 1988 🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓 Turning"53" THIS Week Where Did TIME AND Life GO TIME Machine NOW Take ME Back In TIME TO The 80'S 80'S Forever THANK U, LOVE THIS Memories😯🥰🥺😁📺📼🎧🎤😎📹📻📸🪩🎒🎬🎞️🎷🎱🛼🪀🎳🥇🧩🎲🪘☎️💓
Thank you for this incredible comment🤩🙏❤
The 80s were like a little piece of heaven. We just didn’t know we were living in it at the time. Best time in all of history.
The best time to be a teen. Miss those days 😢
The best time..definitely.!
nostalgia overload and i love it
Born in the 70's, Teenagers in the 80's. GenX Girls & Boys were Magical & sooo cute!! Let's bring back the Fashion...Now!!
We of G X were not magical.. We are Magical.! N so cute.!
The fashion, as in 100%, will never come back. And most of the goober heads today will never give up their smart phones & social media. When you're at home, build yourself an 80's mental time machine and have the time of your life! :P
I miss the 80s and I was child and youth in the 80s time.
The 1980s lived like a dream !
Absolutamente
Gracias por existir Nina, te superas día a día y nos haces volver a aquellos maravillosos años que jamás volverán.
Dear Lord, thank you for allowing my high school years to go down in the 80’s. It was such a blessing. Keep up safe healthy and to live a long life. Amen.
Beautiful and forever young in our hearts! S2
I miss the 80s!!!
I'm in love with this song, this album, she is amazing.
Me, too. I'm sad I wasn't born in 60s. I wish I could have gone through school in 80s.
Understood every word man love from England
You are absolutely a legend for having a huge interest of the 80s music! 😊😊😊
When the Weeknd released Blinding Lights, I thought and hoping that 2020s might bring back 1980s style music but it didn’t.
No te preocupes :33
Because I do feel the same way as you guys that if I had been born like in the 1960’s I wouldn’t be today lamenting myself of why I didn’t get to live the 80s full color like my parents did or why I wasn’t born before 1996. So, in the same way I do feel nostalgic for a decade I would have loved to have lived. But my heart and my soul will be always Gen X’er despite being a “millennial.” 😂😅
I was in my teens and twenties in the eighties happiest times of my life.
Excellent! No generation beats the Teenage movement of the 1980's and their roll in movies. I am fortunate to have been a teenager during that time
The 80’s were awesome. I remember the girls were actually girls. They were fun and like having fun. Guys were typically happy if the girls were happy! I am a graduate of 1984 , my bride is 1985 and we love life. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
I am just seein this...How does this not have millionz of views yet?
Oh, thank you 😁🤗
It was a glorious time. Beautiful edition.
You stay where your happy❤
After two seconds I knew this is the Sound. Absolutely amazing!!!😍
So Glad Weird Science And License To Drive Made IT Into This Video!
License To Drive is a great movie.
THIS SONG MAKE ME FEEL LIKE IM A 40 YEAR OLD MAN RELIVING 80´s MEMORIES. (BUT IM 26 LOL)
LOL, same shit=D
You have a lot of my faves listed. I grew up in the 80s and these movies brings back so many memories. Thank you!
This song is better than anything else being made today
What they produce today is NOT music.
That girl from “Can’t Buy Me Love “. Truly stunning. Always had the biggest crush on her
Sadly and shockingly she died in 2015.
RIP Amanda Peterson
Such a great start in A Year in the Life. I just wish she could've moved abroad and gotten out of the business like Molly Ringwald before it devoured her like so many others.
80's lady here! seems like forever ago that i was that free! sigh.....life happens....
I love this, thank you. RIP Corey Haim😢🙏🏾
Career Opportunities is 90s but a classic!! When it comes to 80's music I consider early 90s a part of it. So many bands made great music up till '92 and occasionally '93 I always consider Leprechaun and River's Edge 80's even though they are 90s.
В 80 е всё было иначе и лучшее, не было фальши , пошлости , разврата , обмана , даже в фильмах запада все было прилично...
Сегодня этого нет ...
the eighties - the nice ladies, the great music, best times of the century for us that grew up then.
Placer And Honor To Have Grew Up in The 80s Fabulous
Don't forget St. Elmo's Fire. Breakfast Club. Even the horror movies were great like Nightmare On Elm Street. Poltergeist.
I love this video! Thanks for putting it together! The 80s are all that and so much more! Love it
Tears are literally rolling down my face as I watch this!
Great song and very nice editing. Good job. I was a Sophomore in high school when the '80s started and a few years out of college when it ended. I feel fortunate to have lived thru this iconic decade that was full of energy and optimism. I saw every movie you used so it was a nice nostalgia hit.
I was born in 1989 and as a kid I always envy the teenagers in our school because oh they are so beautiful and looks like they were having the best time of their lives. I'm in my 30's now and still wish I was born in the 70's to be a teenager in the 80's 😅.
I miss this Time 😭
80's forever
I'm still an 80's girl 🤩👍💜 I'm not crying you are... LOL 😭 best time to be alive ever!!!!!!!!!
Such a great compilation of awesome movies... and the Music... great job...thank you!
👍🤠👍
