    I like utilizing the multiple profiles to zero super and subsonic loads on same gun.

    My #1 is RAV. Things happen fast predator hunting and having to take attention off a spotted predator to ensure you get a video can be the difference of shooting at the right moment or not. I don't hunt HUGE farms where you have minutes to remember to press record. Not sure if the various brands read these comments, but AGM has that function figured out the best. It ALWAYS works, and the 7 secs before and after is a perfect amount of time. I also own an IRay Bolt 25 SE and a TL35V2. The 25 SE has it, but only 2 secs before the shot sucks, and having to remember to manually turn it off sucks, or you end up with long videos you then have to edit to share. On top of that, the videos do not even show up in folders on PC or app. You can see the clock start, and know it recorded, but not retrievable even after a factory reset. My biggest disappointment is that the TL35V2 doesn't even have it (bought the 25 SE first, just figured all the Bolts did), and although it's the best image of the 3 I own, I hardly use it just because it doesn't have RAV. I'd sell the thing in a heartbeat if I could. IRay needs to improve this function. If anybody else like me thinks that RAV or SAR as some call it is an important feature to them, go with AGM, and that's coming from someone who has purchased two IRays.

    Probably to biggest feature for me on my AGM Adder is the SAR. If it wasn’t for that feature, I’d almost never have any video of my hunts. With all the excitement, zooming, electronic call management etc, I forget to hit record constantly. Just ordered the 66 IR light from you guys yesterday. Adding NV to my thermal setup so my sons want to go hunting with me is awesome. Thanks for all you guys do, definitely helpful/useful info you guys put out there for us.

      What's going on with Trijicon? Are they going to become the next Flir in the consumer thermal scope industry? Are they just sticking to military grade optics like the Oaysis SkeetIR ? Any insider baseball on what's going on with them?

      It might surprise many but Trijicon has never developed a consumer thermal scope. Other than a few housing changes, they have made no real improvements to their scopes since they bought out IR Defense around 2015. At the time, the IRD scopes were the best hunting thermals available but it only took a few years before everyone else was making improvements to not just image quality but features etc and Trijicon was quickly out paced. Then N-Vision hit the market using the same BAE sensor as Trijicon but had a significantly better image quality. N-Vision left them in the dust and Trijicon’s fate was sealed when N-Vision came out with video recording and 18650 batteries. On top of that essentially every manufacturer now has better image quality in their top optics and all with the now standard features at a huge discount off Trijicon’s prices.
      So in the end, Trijicon has done nothing at all to attempt to improve the IR Defense technology they bought almost 10 years ago. They have voluntarily sealed their own fate. If it weren’t for government contracts that are greatly over paying for optics with tax dollars, Trijicon wouldn’t still be making thermals today.
      And to be clear, we have nothing against Trijicon. They are a good company, have good service and well built optics but they have just given up on the consumer hunting market.

    I wish the RH25 had a USBC port and not this 7pin fischer connector I can't find an adapter to USBC for. Doesn't have picture in picture either (afaik),

    • @TheLateNightVisionShow
      @TheLateNightVisionShow  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Correct, the RH25 is the only current model optic on the maker we’re aware of that doesn’t have a USB port.
      As for PiP you’re probably right but we haven’t considered it because we don’t know of any other helmet mount thermals that have PiP either? And helmet mounting is the main purpose of the RH25. It’s also a nice small handheld but PiP isn’t very useful in handhelds either. It a great optic, especially at the current price and promo we have running at Outdoor Legacy.

      @@TheLateNightVisionShow I mainly got it for clip on and dedicated use.
      I like the small lightweight nature of it for non hunting usage, whether that be for a small gun (like a uzi pro or a AKS-74U). Not big into helmet usage (for NV or Thermals), but I do like it for scanning until I get a dedicated handheld in a year or two (or get a full size thermal to replace my heavy brick of a PAS-14B lol.

    Burn prevention in the AGM scopes is extremely underrated🤣

      It’s a nice safety feature but thankfully in 11 years we’ve never seen it be an issue. Hope it stays that way!
