Cape Breton Piano Accompaniment Demo - Strathspey and Reel

A short video demonstrating the Cape Breton piano style. Here I accompany a Strathspey and Reel, both in the key of E minor, using mainly Em, G, D and Bm in different voicings.
The style is dominated by the left hand bass and syncopated chords in the right hand, giving the tune a jumpy, very rhythmic feel - thus adding a bit of variety when playing for dances.
