After 2 days playing with the increased tension on the right stick of the Astro C40 Controller, it has made my Game a lot better. I can feel the improvement. The best Controller on the market just got better thanks to Battle Beaver. Love it.
Received my c40 Tr increased tension stick modules today. They only took 5 days to arrive in the UK, which is great! The sticks feel really good, they have that new pad tension now. I'd recommend the Battle Beaver sticks to any C40 TR user!
Thank you battle beaver! I got my stick a few days ago and it’s so much better than the stock one. The stock are so loose and my aim was all over the place. The new extreme tension stick slows my aim down and I’m way more accurate. Everyone who owns a c40 and plays FPS need these sticks.
15 percent stick drift using the increased tension module. I've tried soft resetting, hard resetting, switching the module to the left and nothing. Nicely done, guys!

yeah astro owes Battle beaver big time. their thumbstick replacement are the only reason why i bought the astro if BBC didn't ever replacement thumbstick i would have never purchased the Astro and im sure im not the only one . so i'd look into talking astro into buying all their Thumbstick from you guys instead . since well your increased thumbstick are the only things keeping astro c40 functional for more the 3 weeks. i honestly think they owe you at the very least a thank you
I received the astro c40 for Christmas, the stock analogs are a mess(remember mad cats?) Bb customs fixes the issue, hats off to battle beaver support,staff. I no longer have stick drift issues and I dont have to calibrate every few matches. If you're serious about your controller, start getting serious with these. First time customer

William Garcia Way better than the stock stick that comes with the C40. I would probably go with the tension below Extreme first, but if you go straight to Extreme like I did, give yourself a couple of hours to adjust and you’ll be good to go. Installation was super easy. But had some really really bad stick drift at first. Had to recalibrate the controller a couple of times, then do the 30 second reset. Really helps the aim. Highly recommend
William Garcia I ordered mine on the 24th and got it a week later. But I also live about 3-4 hours away from where battle beaver is located, so it shouldn’t have taken that long for it to get mailed. They are very helpful and generous, so it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to them and have them check on the order
I couldn’t get fats build time so I got standard controller was supposed to be here 4-7 weeks it’s been 7 weeks and 2 days , not even a msg that it’s been built fully ! Super mad company needs to fix this I’m gonna get mad my old battle beaver broke after 2 years so I tried to get a new one

what tension did you get the 110 or the 160 . ? either way your thumb is gonna get work out the 1st few days but you'll adapt quickly as the resulting accuracy and tracking improvements will have you playing through the burn . also be sure to check the thumbsticks in the C40 software to make sure they are centered and calibrated , if they aren't don't worry simply re calibrate until they show center if that doesn't work right away try a factory reset on the C40 (tiny pinhole in the back ) then re calibrate . my high tension had to be factory reset and recalibrated a few time before it was centered but my extreme was ready to do right away .
so true . and not only that but astro thumb stick are particularly Shitty they can't hold up for more that a few weeks , really really bad , thank goodness for battle beaver

@@Syrptoh . yeah the Battle Beaver thumbsticks are way better than astro's . i Prefer the extreme in fact i just upgraded to a 200 gram thumbstick from Evil thinking my BBC wa going out . turns out the Astro controller was the problem not the thumb sticks i had to find the right tension on the face plate too much and the module would bug out , to little that unit will not work the Astro is a Finicky controller so it will make it appear that thumbstick are bad when the real issue is the controller unit itself . and most issue can be resolved with a little scientific trial and error. though im upgrading to a Battle beaver custom DS4

Jovany Torres tbh really good man gives you nice precision and slows your sensitivity down a bit to hit your shots. Their customer support and shipping is awesome just FYI, I do randomly look in the air for some reason sometimes (playing bo4) so have to look into fixing that might have to contact Astro but yea highly recommend

Any advice on how to fix sprinting in FPS games. After use for a couple of months my characters will just randomly stop and my movement is effected by it. It’s like playing with one hand tied behind my back.
blow into the joystick and also try resetting the controller by holding middle back button twice. I ended up buying a new stick from Battle beabers, not astro
check your profile setting on the astro sofware make sure you don't have any drift issues i also had a thumstick seat go bad (the spot on the cd40 that holds the removable modules) if recalibration doesn't work try swapping thumbstick position from ps4 lay to xbox lay out or vice versa
@@Syrptoh .Ok so the issue may actually be with the internals of the C40 controller itself . its not registering the directional input correctly . have yuou tried putting the thumbstick in the alternate position (ps4 or xbox) that and try to take a look in the calibration software to see if your getting past 85% percent in all direction if you not it can be fixed by decreasing the max input threshold of said thumbsticks , my astro stock ouot of the box wouldn't max out on the left stick in the upper right and upper left directions this would cause my caracter to stop sprint any time i shifted slightly to the the uppper left or right, i thought my BBC stick was goin out but its the controller as i just bought an evil stick and it had the exact same issue as soon as i put it in thus implying the issue is with eh controller unit not the thumbsticks. so if your Astro is under warrentee get a fresh one
Once I calibrated my controller my stick drift went away. But the only problem I had was my L3 button . In Modern Warfare my sprinting would be cancelled so I just waited on new module and used automatic tactical sprint to save my L3
Are you guys always stocked with the modules? I tried buying some from the Astros website and got denied the purchase I'm guessing they discontinued the making of the modules as well.
I really wish battlebeaver would have an update to your orders. An E.T.A basically. Specially when beaver boost isnt available. That would be an awesome feature to their website. They are the only controllers i use. If you dont have one order one asap.
After installing the Extreme modules, I have a MASSIVE deadzone on both sticks. My character will not move one inch until my stick is pressed all the way in whatever direction I am trying to move to. There is no way to tweak the deadzones in the c40 software either. After recalibrating/resetting, no change. Not sure what to do.

Wait does the astro c40 have less tension on the analog sticks than the regular ps4 ds4? Because I prefer less analog tension like the analog sticks used for the xbox one analog sticks and ps3
bruh wtf i didn't know these where avail ive been buying the stupid regular ones from astro this is amazing !!!! does any one who has had these installed for a while had any issues im just looking for better longer lasting quality on the sticks as i put tons of hours into my c40 and the sticks go pretty often.
I've had nothing but problems bro. I don't know if it's the never ending C40 module problems causing it or these but I've had terrible stick drift issues abd with these in its just another variable in figuring out how to fix it. I haven't used mine in my controller for a few months now
So the C40s have some drift issues regardless but when I put these in its gets so much worse. Like my gun immediately pointing into the ground and if any even manually point it back up. It sucks because they make the sticks feel so much better but in my experience it hasn't been worth the issues involved with using them
@@thinkforyourself5672 have you tried re calibrating the C40 with the PC software open . and also try factory resetting the controller unit(the tiny hole under the controller) and finally my Seats have gone bad but my thumbstick are fine have you tried alternate thumbstick layouts to see if the issue persists . and finally make sure you set the module perfectly in the housing
@@omnilightstudios7958, I'm going to play with them again. I reset the controller and recalibrated it. I need to plug it in and play with software. My issues were the battle beaver modules. I bought a brand new set of Evil controller modules but haven't even opened the box yet because I'm afraid to ruin a controller that's working at the moment. It sucks. I've been keeping 2 extra astro modules on hand at all times now. $45 per swap out and I'm on set 7 since August 2019
Can someome help me? I bought a module and now I have a really little stick drift on my controller. Should I replace it or is there any way to fix it ?
I'm actually having the exact same issue with mine. Tried it in the lower left analog slot and it was showing 100%, then in the top left slot and it was just kind of jumping all over the place with even worst stutter than the original module for which I bought this to replace.
this is my 3rd controller that i replaced from best buy. astro really fuck up with this modules. they go out quick. good controller but damn they need to fix this problem
Hi just received an extreme tension module and my t6 screwdriver! Both came fast and I can't wait to install the module when I'm home. I was wondering when you mention "reset and recalibrate" I know how to recalibrate my controller by holding the button and waiting but when you say "reset" did you just mean it in the same sense as recalibrate? Just making sure I don't have to reset it AND recalibrate it. I assume I just have to recalibrate it. Thanks for any clarification.
Chris Bailey installed the extreme tension module in my right stick about 5 hours ago and I have to say this is the best upgrade ever. It feels like this is how the controller should have came. Thank you guys so much!
Chris Bailey hey my module seems to jerk my reticle in random directions if I push it in another direction. Only happens sometimes. Sometimes it has drift. Any clue what could cause this? Should I take it out and try to see if there's dust or hair anywhere on it? Thanks.
So after installing I can hit the button on the n back twice to reset then I can adjust sensitivity in game settings( division 2,PS4) ...my question is is it ready to go after installation without going on PC ?

I recently got 1 of the ps4 v2 BBC controllers and it came with a back button kit but idk how to install it instead of my stock 4 black back buttons? The new kit is a slight ish black colour and comes with a grippy texture so they'd be way better.
Yeah your thumbstick Saved my C40 the stock and replacement stock tumbsticks lasted 4 weeks max before they went out luckily i had order two BBC hone extreme and one high , the astro has been working well for about 6 month but latelys the seat built in the controller for the thumb sticks are going out so i had to switch from a ps4 TS layout to an Xbox layout cuase the left seat went bad and keeps sending a down to the left signal at all times so i had to use the upper left seat . whatch out though evil is cranking out 200 gram TS gonna have to test their QC. but evil sucks cause they install cheater mods and are extremely expensive

Honestly am considering buying two stock modules and one increased but am confused between BB and evil as both is having up and down reviews . Which thumbstick tension is roughly the same as the DualShock 4? I currently use a DS4 with tall Kontrol Freeks. I want to make sure I'm getting a similar feel in tension with the C40. Thanks.
You can buy it in person at a hardware store. They're very common as a matter of fact. Ask for assistance if you need to. It's a "T6 Torx" *It cost mine $4*
increased is 110 grams i believe the elite is around that tension the extreme is 160 . the elite series 2 highest setting is 95 grams the same as the xbox 360 controllers . so the 110 would be the most comparable and after heavy use may loosen to about 100 to 97 grams

Incept if you are “randomly” looking into the sky in your game due to replacing the thumbsticks then that isn’t good at all.

Installed the extreme tension on my right thumbstick and it’s feels amazing. Will probably replace my left with the same when it dies out.

@@Syrptoh .Ok so the issue may actually be with the internals of the C40 controller itself . its not registering the directional input correctly . have yuou tried putting the thumbstick in the alternate position (ps4 or xbox) that and try to take a look in the calibration software to see if your getting past 85% percent in all direction if you not it can be fixed by decreasing the max input threshold of said thumbsticks , my astro stock ouot of the box wouldn't max out on the left stick in the upper right and upper left directions this would cause my caracter to stop sprint any time i shifted slightly to the the uppper left or right, i thought my BBC stick was goin out but its the controller as i just bought an evil stick and it had the exact same issue as soon as i put it in thus implying the issue is with eh controller unit not the thumbsticks. so if your Astro is under warrentee get a fresh one

Once I calibrated my controller my stick drift went away. But the only problem I had was my L3 button . In Modern Warfare my sprinting would be cancelled so I just waited on new module and used automatic tactical sprint to save my L3

After installing the Extreme modules, I have a MASSIVE deadzone on both sticks. My character will not move one inch until my stick is pressed all the way in whatever direction I am trying to move to. There is no way to tweak the deadzones in the c40 software either. After recalibrating/resetting, no change. Not sure what to do.

Wait does the astro c40 have less tension on the analog sticks than the regular ps4 ds4? Because I prefer less analog tension like the analog sticks used for the xbox one analog sticks and ps3

bruh wtf i didn't know these where avail ive been buying the stupid regular ones from astro this is amazing !!!! does any one who has had these installed for a while had any issues im just looking for better longer lasting quality on the sticks as i put tons of hours into my c40 and the sticks go pretty often.
I've had nothing but problems bro. I don't know if it's the never ending C40 module problems causing it or these but I've had terrible stick drift issues abd with these in its just another variable in figuring out how to fix it. I haven't used mine in my controller for a few months now
So the C40s have some drift issues regardless but when I put these in its gets so much worse. Like my gun immediately pointing into the ground and if any even manually point it back up. It sucks because they make the sticks feel so much better but in my experience it hasn't been worth the issues involved with using them
@@thinkforyourself5672 have you tried re calibrating the C40 with the PC software open . and also try factory resetting the controller unit(the tiny hole under the controller) and finally my Seats have gone bad but my thumbstick are fine have you tried alternate thumbstick layouts to see if the issue persists . and finally make sure you set the module perfectly in the housing
@@omnilightstudios7958, I'm going to play with them again. I reset the controller and recalibrated it. I need to plug it in and play with software. My issues were the battle beaver modules. I bought a brand new set of Evil controller modules but haven't even opened the box yet because I'm afraid to ruin a controller that's working at the moment. It sucks. I've been keeping 2 extra astro modules on hand at all times now. $45 per swap out and I'm on set 7 since August 2019

I'm actually having the exact same issue with mine. Tried it in the lower left analog slot and it was showing 100%, then in the top left slot and it was just kind of jumping all over the place with even worst stutter than the original module for which I bought this to replace.

Hi just received an extreme tension module and my t6 screwdriver! Both came fast and I can't wait to install the module when I'm home. I was wondering when you mention "reset and recalibrate" I know how to recalibrate my controller by holding the button and waiting but when you say "reset" did you just mean it in the same sense as recalibrate? Just making sure I don't have to reset it AND recalibrate it. I assume I just have to recalibrate it. Thanks for any clarification.

So after installing I can hit the button on the n back twice to reset then I can adjust sensitivity in game settings( division 2,PS4) ...my question is is it ready to go after installation without going on PC ?

I recently got 1 of the ps4 v2 BBC controllers and it came with a back button kit but idk how to install it instead of my stock 4 black back buttons? The new kit is a slight ish black colour and comes with a grippy texture so they'd be way better.

Yeah your thumbstick Saved my C40 the stock and replacement stock tumbsticks lasted 4 weeks max before they went out luckily i had order two BBC hone extreme and one high , the astro has been working well for about 6 month but latelys the seat built in the controller for the thumb sticks are going out so i had to switch from a ps4 TS layout to an Xbox layout cuase the left seat went bad and keeps sending a down to the left signal at all times so i had to use the upper left seat . whatch out though evil is cranking out 200 gram TS gonna have to test their QC. but evil sucks cause they install cheater mods and are extremely expensive

You can buy it in person at a hardware store. They're very common as a matter of fact. Ask for assistance if you need to. It's a "T6 Torx"

increased is 110 grams i believe the elite is around that tension the extreme is 160 . the elite series 2 highest setting is 95 grams the same as the xbox 360 controllers . so the 110 would be the most comparable and after heavy use may loosen to about 100 to 97 grams
