I think covering the pot is a brill idea and no idea why i didnt think of it before, not only are they been fried but the cover is creating steam which helps them puff up and stay light and fluffy. You mom knows what works so to me, i defo wouldnt listern to people who critisise instead of being prepared to be educated, no room for pride in the kitchen unless its on a bag of flour. Mom did a great job, Marcy you cannot fry dumplings without a lot of oil. I always cover my pot when I fry my dumplings because the middle cooks faster. If I use the self rising flour I add a little all-purpose flour to it. The breakfast looks delicious. Give my love to mom.
I love liver it is so good for us and I love dumplings so true you can't fry in small amount of oil they look so pretty I love to cover my pot well done⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
