Great video as always Chris. Watched jenny and Zoe’s live stream but great to have all these in one place. This highlights how well TT 120 is doing and all positive going forward. Heljan, accurascale and rapido for producing locos 👍. Would love to see bachmann produce a loco too.
Not even a TT:120 modeller, but I have my popcorn out for the naysayers. Keep up the great content Peachy! This is the type of diversity that makes the hobby great!
Thanks for this, Chris. I have been drawn back to a British outline project precisely through the introduction of TT:120. I'm a massive fan and have been in it from the start. As I'm based in France, it's hard to get to shows like this so such in-depth coverage is really interesting. Great to see all the enthusiasm around the scale. The future appears to be very bright!
What a difference a year makes! Didn't make it this year (it was a bit of a crush in 2023 for my other half in her mobility scooter). Last year a lot of stands were TT:120 non-committal at best - looks like this year they've seen the light. Hopefully the news that TT:120 sold out on a lot of retailers' stands will make those umming and arring make a quick decision about which way to go. Great work Ambassador Peachy.
Nice video, good to see Gary Hall too. Admired his collection since I started with TT:120. Hopefully there will be some announcements from Hornby soon.
Chris, I've been watching your channel for several months now and had been tempted to see what the new TT models were like "in the flesh". So after an hiatus of about 55 years of railway models and your recent post on Hornby's TT anniversary offer I've just finished running-in Blink Bonny and of course couldn't resist an A4 so Silver King is on it's way. The HM7000 is just incredible to a newcomer like me, I only wish my old uncle (who was a railway man and introduced me to railway models when I was a youngster) was still around to see it all. Hope to see a British Railways era 08 soon so I can part with even more money! Can't yet decide how to make a proper layout or what period to model, but I'll keep watching for some inspiration. Keep up the good work!
Keep up with the promotion of tt 120 my husband has built a tt120 layout as well as oo n gauge we recently bought some more locos in hornby sale for our tt 120 latout thanks for videos
@@carolinecleaveley-q1r and you too Caroline. Yes it was a more pleasant vibe, definitely. I think the smaller “making tracks” layout worked better for the overall flow of the show
Member of the Peachy Massive checking in. My pick for manufacturers who are planning to produce a TT120 loco is Revolution, Accurascale and Rapido (subs bench: Cavalex, Heljan). Nice update video, I wish I could've made it there. 👍
Thanks Chris. TT120 could not have wished for a better ambassador. I hope those soon-to-be-revealed locomotives are more modern image ones. Although I have both, the HSTs are too big to be practical for my wee layout and the 08 needs that 6 pin badly. I love my 50 though. There is a massive class 47 shaped hole in Hornby's plans currently.
I am so pleased that TT:120 is going so well. I was worried that it might have been a dead duck but now to hear that other suppliers are interested and designing stuff is great. I think if I am honest that this might actually save Hornby, they just need to manage it better and go back to the starting principles of it and follow through. My worry would be unless it is exceptional, other suppliers must not copy what another suppliers have done. We do not need 3 suppliers making class 50's or whatever loco it is! Hornby to it's credit has some bloody good quality products! They must keep up the quality.
Getting a little impatient with Hornby. Their website lists more models out of stock than in stock! They need to either restock or introduce some new rolling stock. I have a monthly budget which has remained unspent for the last two months.
