  • In this episode of the Perspective Prog. Based on 'Good Governance'. Good governance is key to a nation’s progress. Towards making a New India by 2047, good governance is the only way forward. Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba said this at an event marking Good Governance Week, 2022. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has articulated his vision of good governance, which includes ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’ and Whole of Government approach. Towards realizing this vision, a number of efforts have been undertaken to facilitate a participatory, accountable, transparent and responsive government to the people of the country. He spoke about the importance of delayering, delegation of power and digitalization in governance. As the Good Governance Week, 2022 culminates, we look at some highlights of the event this year, the thrust of the government to improve outcomes and ensure deliverables.

I wish I could listen more from Mr. Tripathi. He has raised so many Public Administration concepts with such lucidity in applied form.

@@integrity2679 Yes, I was glad to see her countering the views of Tripathi Sir.
Ground realities at local level, specifically at rural level, still suffers from leakages, corruption, lack of awareness, etc in implementation of various schemes.

People's participation can be achieved if we take example from Japan's education policy. They don't only focus on mugging book but also inculcating good behaviour which can be achieved in our country fastest way. I hope government will include better school with objective of providing good moral value from lowest level. Now with mobile in everyone hand has caused many challenges of moral value inculcating in child behaviour.

Why she didn't allow to talk much about women issues. I think they only want to show good performance about pm that's good but they need to cover lagged issue. That could be holistic perspective about any topics.

What are they talking about? They keep talking about governance and how to make those institutions of government more efficient. Who cares? That should be a given.. Your first question should be. What parts of your government has too much overreach and should be pulled back or done away with all together? That one step alone will free up opportunities for the average person to do better for themselves in life without your oversight.. These are the things you should be addressing not how efficient you are at red tape and paperwork. Complications governments create in the first place.) Economies will grow on their own accord If government stays out of our business.
