I said I would never loc my hair too and I did it for over a year and fell in love with it, I recently combed them out my hair grew so long!! Now I want to go back to locs....too funny!
I am so excited. I always watched your videos when I was a loose natural. I have been Loc‘ d now 2years. I started out with 166 locs. Just keep in mind the products you use as a loose natural you can’t with locs. Shea butter will give you build up. Watch Yanni the locogist she is the best.

@@NaturallyMichy one last thing shugga, please don't count your locs. It's been said to be bad luck. The parts will fade, and don't shampoo for at least 3 months, they come out and the locing process takes longer, uhg! Sounds kind of nasty, but you can make it through that transition. The hardest part. We love you and can't wait to see the loc styles.

Your hair is so full, I think your locs will be GLORIOUS!! I decided I’m starting my journey in August, but more and more each day I’m getting more inspiration to just do it and I may end up starting sooner. Absolutely! How you start your foundation is important and since you just recently did them yourself, you'll have a chance to redo them to your satisfaction before they begin to start locking. Good luck!

Hi Queen I really enjoyed your video. I to have done and enjoyed my 👑 in every way. I have not had my hair relaxed in over 10 year's. In. 2009 I did the big big chop just brush and go kmsl. I alway's had thick 🌊 hair but had no clue that when it shaped up after a month. How beautiful my waves alone with that fresh line was going to be popping like that kmsl. So I rocked that style for a lil over 5 year's. October 30, 2014 was my last hair cut. l decided to begin growing my hair back believe it or not to start my loc journey. The big big chop in 2009 was to start from scratch and begin my loc journey. But like I explained I had no idea that I was going to love the style the was I did but I did kmsl. As my hair begin to grow I 💘 it more and more especially when I would pop my afro out kmsl. Just all the difference phases and I embraced every one of them with GRACE !!! Now 4 month's ago I began my loc journey with the two string twist. I did not measure my length before getting it twisted but if I had to guess it was. 22 to 24 inches. But I did take pictures the day before I began my loc journey. I only had a measurement done once at maybe 18 months into my natural free journey and it was 6 inches. Length never really matter to me because I beautiful no matter what kmsl. But I so excited and my 👑 is looking simply amazing. I think I will document my loc journey kmsl. Because I like watching other's journey why no do my own kmsl. Thank you very much for sharing !!!

Well I started my natural hair journey in 2011 and somewhere around year 3 or so I found you and been rocking with you ever since. I'm soooooo excited for you and your loc journey AND👏I👏AIN'T👏GOING👏NOWHERE!!! I've been considering doing locs but have a few more things to do with my hair. So in the meantime I'll catch up later and by then you'll have all the FLY loc hairstyles you've come up with uploaded by then for me to copy.😉🤣
