I might be able to handle a greycation. I like doing homework in my room, I sometimes have to pace and talk to myself, as if I was being recorded at all times. I might be insane.
I love simply not talking for long periods of time and I have to balance my desire for quiet alone time with family obligations and I do fail as a person in that respect. But other people just drain me so much just existing around them. In a world of randomness it's said random things can happen in groupings similar to the back 2 back sales thing. I did think the notice email was slightly different but the regular CGP Grey content was exactly the same so I just went with it. After listening to this I realize it was the @substack bit being different and maybe that stuff right at the bottom changed colours, The white button with orange "start writing" stood out but not in any sort of alarming way. I like it.
I want to see if there is a positive link between people being platinum mad about thermostat tampering and their status as fathers with hvac bills due.
Good grief, I learned about Statistical Process Control about 30 years ago on a training course I "won" at work. Utterly useless for the job I was doing at the time and I forgot about it almost immediately but, hey, I got a free week at a hotel on the coast so I wasn't complaining!
Statical process control leads to finding and setting thresholds, machine learning, artificial intelligence...30 years ago you could have been ahead of the AI revolution (just kidding... Kind of)
Doesn't cotton bureau have an api you can pull the data from? Not having that automated is a big source of error and apart from that, just a waste of time. You should also be using a proper ERP Solution, the more you mess around with spreadsheets, the harder it will be to ingest into a proper ERP System at a later date.
Substack is your house on a mountain with its own bunker, if weather destroys your home you have a backup and a fallout shelter. Truly one is none in the finest with this solution.
The 6 days thing does not give you 99% certainty. It would be a 1% chance of observing the 6 days or something more extreme supposing that there was no difference.
Grey's absolute dedication his Greycation while Myke slowly realises that he would go absolutely nuts in that situation is spectacular
I think I would enjoy a Greycation but I bet I'll still be unproductive as I usually am. :P

I can't WAIT to see 18:00 onwards animated. Mike's chiming in with 'BORING~!' is borderline magical.

Just put a USB Cup warmer over the thermostat, use physics to get what you want.

Why in the world doesn't your spreadsheet pull the sales data in realtime or close to it? Automation is what computers do.

Deep Work by Cal Newport
Grey used to focus on making interesting and engaging TH-cam videos. Now he focuses on maximizing merch sales.
