This has been my favorite episode out of the bunch so far the pacing is really good and the chemistry between these two is excellent kept me very interested and engaged. I also have enjoyed the blind aspect in the videos but this one was certainly a stand out and it was super cool wow a 76!!! And he got it, very wholesome could see it he excitement it takes great friends to enjoy old wines to share that knowledge in history.
Thanks Wyatt! Sorry for the late response. New video of Pichon Baron is live. already saw it?
@@thewinearchive yes I’ve watched every video on the channel very high-quality content and great insight love the talk about the vintages and the changes through the wines and the Chateau’s history it’s like I’m there without being there fantastic! Made me go buy some wines and look for certain vintages as well.
Love the wines of Lagrange which are still affordable. Should kept the old label though. Loved it.
Hi! Indeed Lagrange is still very affordable! I also loved the old label, let's hope for the best! haha
It's an amazing video! I think I should find some other videos with Matthieu.
By the way, what do you think, is Lagrange 2015 ready to drink?

The 2015 is still young because it is a top vintage so it will need some extra time to age at least 5-10 years. But if you like younger wines, why not. :)
I had the 2005 a year ago and the aromas were really incredible. It had this intensely meaty umami nose that was like grilled meat. The palate was not as impressive for me, as it was a bit thin and short, but I remember myself putting my nose in the decanter and I couldn’t stop smelling it the whole night.
Great vid, never tasted them and as far as I see pretty cool priced wines.
Thanks Jack for your nice comment! Yes you need to buy and taste for yourself. Lagrange is always an easy pick for me to buy.

Wauw, what glasses are used there?
Hi these glasses are indeed amazing. The brand is called Sydonios.
@@thewinearchive The Sydonios - Racine - L'Esthète i think? Thanks! Beautiful indeed.
@@rb1084 Correct indeed! :)
