DEN aka 80% of the GBB intro themes xD
LOL real

Stop apologizing for hitting pause. The complainers can just watch the unpaused version when they go back to the original video .. Keep up the fantastic content!!!!
Exactly, for example i almost always watch the original before watching a reaction and it would honestly even feel more boring if the person that reacts isn't pausing the video to add more thoughts.
Hear hear
Den is obviously an unreal beatboxer, but his range and soundscape seems like it was built for production. The complexity and pitch distribution seems to make some live sets feel muddy to me. Curious ya'lls thoughts on this? Same with you Dan.
exactly, I consider smart beatboxers like Dan, Den, River, Jairo, etc. as real musicians and not just beatboxers
Personally if i see pitch problems on a musical beatboxer like den its major minus points for me. Your not wrong.
agree
I think Den has also struggled to perform a set perfectly so far at the GBB there were a quite a few pitch inconsistencies which I think make the set more muddy than inconsistencies on drums.
That said I agree that his sounds sound better when not on stage.
I dont like what he does at all. The reason for his live sounds being do awful and flat is bcuz he is a studio beatboxer. They make his shit sound good after the track is recorded, which is why he never has anything worth listening to live. I wish the beatboxing community would stop with the " all beatboxing is good beatboxing " mindset. People need to be honest and brutally honest at times. The "special sound" hype has to be murdered off. If not these types of issues will keep happening. Hype trains, off 1 sound or trick, making it to main stage taking spots from actual dope well rounded beat boxers.
i swear he always sounds like he sings with a blocked nose, that's what throws me off the most
why did you make me notice it😭😭
That's cause he's singing nasally, so basically you're right yeah. Every sound is coming from the nose.
I subbed @alexv01d
Did you know that Den is a disease that prevents you from breathing through your nose?
like yawning?
I absolutely adore Den's energy on stage. He looks so relaxed and chill and so connected to his creation, and this involves me a lot in his music. The other great thing that makes him special is this astronomical control over pitch-changes. These jumps from inward bass to head voice are so fucking smooth.
Yet I agree with your comments. I felt like this year something was just not enough.
Thanks a lot for this reaction. It helped me to understand what exactely seemed off for me😊
I was originally a huge Den fan, but outside of his muscial, mixed stuff, he just can never seem to do the same live
I agree 100%. I am a huge DEN fan aswell.
I was in the top 0.05% of his spotify listeners. But live i don’t feel the same way and thats a bit dissapointing. Ofcourse its not 100% the same as his wildcards but its not even 50% and thats bothers me a bit.
The only beatboxer who can sound the same in his wildcard as live is codfish for me.
Yeah his style never translates very well on stage.
@@denzelvandelinde5381Osis performed cash flawlessly at GBC (minus lyrics, he kinda forgot them but the actual beat is perfect
@@denzelvandelinde5381 There's rediculous amounts of beatboxers who can pull off their tracks live lol. But I agree with you on Den.
@@denzelvandelinde5381 🤥
7:40 i want more of this
This is purely from a fan standpoint. It seems like the stuff Den is doing takes a lot more air that typical beatbox stuff. That increases the difficulty and add in all the pitching and it’s just tough. That being said, he’s one of my favorites for sure
I don't know if Den works out, but I swear, if he does breathing exercises, he'd be able to hold his inward bass waaaay longer.
he always runs out of breathe after doing the bass hard and ending on a soft melodic high note, and i want the end singing to be louder xD
He has asma
@@ruvimperna5532 thats because the singing and inward bass are both breathing in so its really difficult to now fill up with air
@@juanantoniomontejanozuniga4617 Asthma, but yes, he has medical breathing issues.
He has abs back in the old days
i'm so hyped for your reaction to gbb every time🔥
I never skip ads In your videos. That's my way of supporting🙌🏻
After you, D-Low, Den is my fave beatboxer. He just has such texture and character in his bass palette.
A collab of you and Den would be s i c k man. I think you'd create some magic.
loveee these insights, dlow just knows how to appreciate beatbox and where to give due credit.
i had the same reaction at 7:49 🔥
The audio in this comapred to 2019 is just laughable Dan ... and I know negativity ain't the wave but someeone gotta say it. The Swissbeatbox channel has lost the old production and audio team that made it special and it shows. How do we go forward 5 years in real time yet it feels like the audio of big beatbox companys has taken a step back 10 years??
I noticed that too. The audio quality is not upto par with the other GBBs. The main reason being them uploading the vids soo quick, that they have to sacrifice some quality to pull that off. You get some, you lose some
Could also be due to some TH-cam compression
2019 was the best sound, but i think this sounds fine. The venue is much, much bigger and that has a lot to do with the audio, 2021 for example was just big hall reverb.
I honestly don’t agree at all, the audio gets more crisp and better with every year. Just went back to a 2019 video out of curiosity and it’s so much worse, especially with headphones. I can’t have it on the same volume at all.
Guesssss why cuz Maddox lefttt whoops
I love Den but he's not currently built for live. I'm not sure if it's nerves or what but live he's always inconsistent on pitch and breath control and everything feels thin and the rounds don't feel very full or filled out. I know he's an amazing beatboxer so i how he can polish up these little things because he can absolutely go far with his routines
I love DEN and he definitely has so much potential in him. I hope he keeps going with it.
his best showing was probably at 2022 founders or the one-one battle in the same year, swear if he could perform to his full potential he would be unstoppable, because he's won so many battles despite all these inconsistencies
I would love to see what Den says on the comments about him coming in too low in that one section. Would be really interesting if he did mean to be that low and then to see how different it would be higher.
Dlow uploads, I'm happy
Bro is grinding the reaction videos 🥶🔥
"We Are The Animals" is FUCKING FIRE!
Yeah I don’t know it’s great but a little bit weak and not a lot of different stuff. But I like it
Yeah haha
im waiting for remix elimination i want to see ur reaction towards it
12 days of Dansmass
D low is actually very up
I love the pausing, Dlow. Just have to say :)
Annnnnnnnnd we areeee back!!!
My ranking list is going way different 😂🖤
1. Helium
2. Stitch
3. Den
4. Pacmax
5. Momimaru
Anyone that honestly thinks 2019 had better audio than this year has gotta be deaf fr. This is the best audio for a GBB thus far, every sounds comes through super clean and you can parse out every frequency. Plus if you pay attention you can even hear the sub-frequencies that crazy powerful beatboxers like Julard and Helium generate in the venue.
Agreed
From what I understand this is the best video live but not the best gbb to perform at live
Den🔥🔥🔥
The more you pause, more people will have to go check out the full video to watch it uninterupted. So really pausing is just supporting the original video!
Reaction video without pauses xddddd? Bruh
Would you say it'd be harder for DEN to hit the max potential simply due to the complexity of the sounds compared to Helium? You gotta factor that in as a modifier somehow. So if DEN hit 81% for theirs, and Helium hit 94%, then maybe DEN should have a base modifier of say 1.1x for complexity, so assuming they both reach their max potential of 100%, then DEN would score 110% compared to Heliums's 100%. That's whether you prefer it or not, just speaking objectively. If you catch my drift.
yeah when dlow doesnt even really try to repeat it on camera you know its unique :)
Through the video, I felt a bit of a disconnect between Den and the crowd, but mostly coming from Den and how he was presenting himself.
Dan had a brain fart near the end there 😂😂
I like your style Dlow. I trust your valuing of the difficulty of the techniques. I love Den and his style, but the power and confidence factor is just not ever there for me, and so he has a hard cap on where I can feel he landed. Especially since you're qualifying for some battles, I need to feel like you know your stuff is good. I'm not always confident Den believes his stuff is worth passing, a self fulfilling prophecy.
Anyway thanks! Great work to everyone!
i think in the intro he was mimicking his part of the intro music
Yooo Dan!
Some pitch problems and sound inconsistencies (snare sounds quieter sometimes) but apart from that it sounded beautiful 🔥
D-Low try find the angle you should hold your head while inward bass. Every position is possible. And higher notes have to hit more in direction of the noise... up
@@TiKayStyle You're trying to tell the best beatboxer in the world, who also has the world's best inwards bass. How to do inward bass.
@zergiz5508 sorry I have no contact to other beatboxer and don't know what is rare or not. I learned it 1 Week and can pitch it and switch to inward falsetto like den.
@@TiKayStyle My bad, shouldn't have jumped the gun. D-Low probably has the best inward bass in the world, so watching him will definitely help you improve!
@zergiz5508 sorry to say this but my inward bass is cleanen than dlow. Hiss Bass is Hard but not clean in pitch.
@@TiKayStyle Yeah now you've lost me bruv 🤣🤣🤣
Just a question but how much do you make USD wise yearly?
HI DLOW
I was wondering one thing. I feel like the audio is getting so bad since they have stared doing GBB in Japan. I can say as a Japanese that they should use the previous audio team.
Love DEN’s voice. Sometimes might be hard to follow on stage. Maybe too much of complexity?
У него очень крутая техника, но опять его проблема!!! Ему не хватает воздуха на Illumination....
1 minute ago is crazy
Liverpool fans 🎉
Can u try to react on your GBB 2018 showcase and make a comment be honest
Bro is ripping hard from 2018 TRUNG BAO... great sound too too close for me De Low!
First comment💥 Love ya Dlow keep it rolling🙌
how he didn't pass, HOW?!
low end is missing from this years online mix
dang im early
And here we have another one of many robberies in this year’s GBB.
GBB24 - The Tournament of Robberies
Unfortunately it just lacked power. When he sings on stage it sounds like he's short on breath
I'm just gona say this but it'll be an unpopular opinion
None of the eliminations have gone hard for a battle setting, it's my least favourite year up to now just a snoozefest.
I do agree, actual eliminations weren’t great but the battles were peak I’d loved them
なんでdenこんなに批判されてんだ?めっちゃよかったじゃん。
Im not a fan of den’s bass it sounds like a burping unlike the others
Odd considering D-lows sounds like disgusting gargling lmfao. Dens sounds like a bass I could recreate in serum
He is good but his beatbox on stage is not so Great
I got bored
Damn... level of competitors this year is super low.
Biasa doang den
Bruh, he was boring.
Tf was this? If this goes thru am out
Too many lyrics, too many pitch mistakes, not enough power and stage presence.
Never been a big Den fan, but this for a GBB live formate was really not his best take.
Den was never a bb just a singer with some lucky hits after that he fall from skyscraper head first
Not cool lol haha
Anyone else think the Indian dude is trash. Very overrated, kinda cool inward bass but the vocals are cringe and the beat was absolutely boring.
First
i think pausing the music in the first listen is very disrespectfull to the artist. Because the artist composes a story, not just notes and sounds. And if you block that serving the story process it is disrespectfull for me. imagine you are making a track, carefully creating transitions, maybe putting your story into it and the listeners stops the track and starts talking for 30 seconds and boom your storytelling is gone.
its like your friend saying " nahh this is trash " before the drop.
@@hebbusicomeback
Agree
I think any artist who expects their music to be listened to in a certain way is extremely selfish. People can choose to listen how they want, even if it’s not the way the artist intended.
I dont like den, stitch, genes new shit. This style of beatboxing is trash on stage, live, and battling. Who tf battles with love songs? Stitches shit was just 5 mins of sounds. not music, sounds thrown together. Special effect after special effect. Filler on top of filler.
That you talk about Stitch is literally funny. He sang, had a structure, dropped like 3 times, brought variation and three judges told him, that he was in their top 8 and he just had bad luck for being first, because otherwise he would have been in. Btw Stitch can battle. Watch BBU, same for Den lol.
