Mr.Dougan, listening to "Nothing at all" after nearly 15 years of discovering it, a lot has changed in my life and it simply made my eyes tear up, thank you for your beautiful lyrics and compositions, you are one of the most underestimated geniuses of modern times.
Rob, you are a big poet and a gift of God..I am and always will be thankful for all the passion, inspiration, love, sorrow and hope sometimes a mix of all I feel whenever I listen to your magical music talking to my soul, so thank you, love
I bought the _Furious Angels_ album on Apple a few years ago. Then I realized it wasn't instrumental, but I could buy the limited edition of the CD. I finally talked myself into getting it, and it wasn't there. I hunted one down. I think it came from the UK. It took forever to get here and fell off the radar for a while. Since it arrived, the CD case stays in my purse, and the instrumental stays in my CD drive. Tracks 9 "Speed Me Towards Death" and 10 "One and the Same" are how long it takes to drive one way to work, and they repeat, until I get stuck in the Starbucks line and listen to the other tracks. I do like the drums on "I'm not Driving Anymore." I think the things I like about SPTD and OATS are that they sound so vintage, like a Polaroid would sound if it had music, and they're so cinematic with emotions and resolutions. It's one of my top favorite CDs ever and probably the only one that is listenable from front to back, the way they used to make albums where everything felt cohesive and flowed so well.
I never stopped believing, THE MASTER IS BACK I've been listening to your masterpieces since the very beginning, You sir have made The Matrix one of my all time favorite movies
Your 2002 album has been on repeat for over 20 years! For me this is an exceptional case when almost all the tracks found echoes ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve already listened to them a thousand times. I don’t understand at all how such a strong work was not continued. Adore you 🤗😻
Rob, from around 9:00 onward, I want to let you know about a mix of emotions that flow through me when I hear you say "some very much recorded in the past, and some here to be released." The blend of this line (where there's a peculiar hint of joy and melancholy in your voice) with your favorite track (Instrumental) is truly magical, and though this line transpires for a mere 10 seconds in this video, I can't help but feel a profound sense of passion and inspiration, that though what was in the past had its joys and sorrows, the future that lies ahead will always be an adventure for everyone, no matter the cost. Thank you!
One of the finest composers of the 21st Century -- he will be remembered for his legacy. These pieces have left in us a ghost that won't ever fade. What they have given to us will remain inside of us every time we look at someone in the eyes or interact with people in any way. It's as though he has shaped the finest of our generation today.
this music is so beautiful and powerful it always brings me to tears. it is about something so genuine and deep, like something one could hide from everybody, but at some point it shows like an old wound. not necessarily painful, but its just there. I think it is genius. Thank you, Mr. Dougan, for creating it.
Your music defined a great period of my life. I loved the sweet sadness about it and glad to see that you're still active. These pieces are immortal. I wish you great success with everything!
Great to hear your voice. Your arrangement for Frescobaldis toccata is my favourite by far and it's one of the first pieces, along with Vale, I show to people as they get to know me.
Thanks Sunfire SG! Vale is one of my favourite pieces recorded. And Frescobaldi's Toccata is one too. Would love to create another recording like The 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Times Sessions EP + Film with over 100 players again some time in the future. It's not something I ever assume I'll do again as it's such a great amount of players and expense. But if ever I had the chance (and the pieces were correct) it would be wonderful. Thanks again, All the best, Rob.
Obviously discovered you with the Matrix when I was just a kid. Since then I've always loved rediscovering you. As time passes and I move on I sometimes forget and then for some reason something brings me back and I can feel your music again. I am glad to see you releasing new material and wish you the very best. I also just learnt that you setup a vignoble just next to where I used to live in France, I hope you enjoy it there. Unfortunately I now live in Ireland but your music fits perfectly well here as well. All the best
"A Drawing-Down of Blinds" is my fav along with 'Clubbed to Death'... I love you Rob! One day maybe our awesome Creator will let me meet you and hear your music live. You are truly amazing!
No one combines classic and modern music the way you do. Thank you so much for all these great pieces. I secretly hope that theres a fourth Matrix movie coming out some day (hopefully a prequel) that features a score completely done by you.
Dear Rob, i wish you would release this masterpiece on CD. I am blown away by the skill of you and your team. I just bought The Life of the World to Come and Misc Sessions.

15 years ago the whole world discovered the greatest album of Rob Dougan... Today, you still remain some kind of musical UFO... Thank you for that video. Introducing us to all your upcoming tracks, that's really a proof of respect towards your audience !!
I adore your music I have the soundtrack of matrix reloaded and furious angels it cost me too much to have your records since they do not reach my country Chile in South America much I have been looking for this record for 2 years and I still cannot have it I am your fan you are a big fan of music
Very great job Rob Dougan! I'm so happy to ear you and seeing you again after a very long time. I have grown up with your music after seeing matrix. I was just a child during this time, 6 years old but I was already able to feel the power of your music! my heart, my brain and all of my body was completly charming and controlled by your music. I have asking my parents to buy your CD because during this time internet was very rarely.. And my all thoughts really wanted to ear your music again again and again... I hope you enjoy your life and you going to continue to put a part of your soul in your beautifully music. ♥️♥️♥️
Powerful, emotional, timeless work, Rob. Been a fan for almost two decades. Can’t wait to get this and eagerly anticipating The Life of the World to Come. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
Thank you, - Scot! That's a wonderful comment. Thrilled to have something coming out. And delighted to hear it's of interest. Wishing you all the very best. Thanks again, Rob.
Where is Clubbed to Death? My favorite one. Rob, for many years we've been waiting for music like Clubbed to Death and Furious Angels. These are the most famous of your works. Please make much of this type of music.
Open sore (vocal) beautiful piece ......don't know what it is but really felt touched by this song.. There's only me(vocal) something that I can relate to.….. I'm not driving anymore (vocal) again... something I would relate to....(Dark Passenger) Thanks Rob 👏👍
So excited about this release! Also really thankful that you put this video together yourself. It’s great to hear your voice. Absolutely!… I’m sure I’m not alone when I say we would all 100% love to hear any and all additional commentary that you might have on these pieces, both old and new. Super excited about this release! As I’ve said many times before, thank you for sharing so many important pieces of yourself with the world. It’s truly a gift. Thank you for being you.
Wesley Williams Thank you again for the kind comments. Things have come along a bit since The 22nd Sunday release and I just wanted to say thanks for staying in there. Have a great weekend, Rob.
Always considered your tracks not just as a songs, but as a great stories. Happy to know, that soon I'm gona hear some new ones! And well, it is a shame dat we - your fans - had to wait for soooo long!
Grzesiek B Thank you. Quite a few new pieces on the release. Beautiful things, Q's Dream, Ben Kedim, and of course a lot of you don't have the instrumental of newer releases such as those from Misc. Sessions, and 22nd Sunday. Great to have them all for the first time on CD and Vinyl. Will try to be quicker. All the best, Rob.
Damn, 11 sounds so much more atmospheric, layered, and intense than the originally uploaded youtube snippet "Excerpt 1/4". If that's indication of what Rob has been up to during the EP release delay - I think the delay will be well worth it.
Hello from Russian. You my favorite musician. Health you Rob and inexhaustible inspiration! Привет из России. Вы мой избранный композитор. Здоровья вам Роб и неиссякаемого вдохновения!
Your music and your talent should be used by every film producer. I love books by Ian Fleming and your music for James Bond would be among the 007 VIP cult. Modern legendary master John Barry.

I have never known an artist nor composer as grand and as elegant as you. Your music has carried me through several stages of my life ever since I first heard Furious Angels 14 years ago and you've stuck with me since. Although, my 2 most favourite pieces are 'Undone by London' and 'Open Sore' from the Misc. Sessions EP...they're extraordinarily captivating. Please continue making these exquisite masterpieces of music, the world really needs more of it!
TheQuiescentGamer - Ok, I love this comment and have to say a big thank you as 'Undone by London' and 'Open Sore' from the Misc. Sessions EP are two of my favourites. I was a bit worried about the Misc. Sessions before releasing it as it wan't as huge as the 22nd Sunday and the songs were very personal. It turned out fine, but thank you for mentioning two quieter pieces. All the best, Rob.
I am about to go sign up for the super duper $130 usd bundle. I have often thought about Getting into Vinyl but I never felt that thing collectors always say “vinyl is the only authentic way for it to be heard”. However when I got the email about this release, I felt it in my bones. I must hear you on vinyl hahaha! Thank you for sharing your music with us. I hope you feel loved and appreciated by all those that have commented. I cant wait but I will :) Left Me for Dead always felt like it belonged on the OST for the film Payback (Mel Gibson) to me.
I've got my double CD on pre-order. I know and love most of these and I'll love those to come. Beautiful Things blew me away. I've been a fan of yours since the release of Furious Angels and I'm always going to come back for more
Thank you - Craig. Beautiful Things is actually quite a good recording - if I say so myself. Think once you hear the final version you'll be surprised. As it's actually better than the excerpts. Ahh... now I remember you've probably also heard the periscope recording. So that makes sense. Thanks again. Can't thank you enough. All the best, Rob,
Wonderful, a decent link to purchase your 🎵. I shall be treating myself in the near future. Good luck with your fore coming sales & may success shower you with many blessings. Excitted for "Beautiful Things" 💞
Do you find yourself satisfied with your previous works from Furious Angels, or are you trying to break away from them and try something new? Your new works seem to have shed the heavy and intense percussion to put the focus more on the voice of the instruments. Some of your older works have done this as well. Is this an attempt to break away from the stigma of your most famous work “Clubbed to Death”? Interested to hear what you think of all your works over the years, and what steps you’ve taken to change them.
FontuneTheTeller - good to say hello again. I suppose it's never good to play the same note again and again. So perhaps break away, try something new, and then return again. The new piece released didn't have much heavy rhythm but other tracks for the next album do. Hope that helps. Best regards, Rob.
I'm loving that you're back and combining stuff tucked away into one release. I'd love to hear a commentary on the music. My question is there anything on this album missing if I've bought Furious Angels, Miscellaneous, 22nd Sunday, and pre-ordered Life of the World to come?
Hello Rob, seems there are more songs appearing on streaming platform. Might we see this and or The Opening Trilogy on there at some point. I have you music physically, but would also be amazing on streaming.
Mr.Dougan, listening to "Nothing at all" after nearly 15 years of discovering it, a lot has changed in my life and it simply made my eyes tear up, thank you for your beautiful lyrics and compositions, you are one of the most underestimated geniuses of modern times.

Musically one of the best ever artists, because he's a proper composer, and one of the best composers of this era, if not *THE* best.
All are so perfect, you can't choose most fav...... Rob is truly great artist, whose heart and composition speaks life.

I am about to go sign up for the super duper $130 usd bundle. You are my favourite artist, I love your music.
Thanks OLO 69. That's wonderful to hear. Wishing you all the very best and thank you again - Rob
Tu música es increible, impresionante. Hermano, Saludos desde Chile. Cuando por acá?
Best regards, Rob.

can't wait for the track with Sezen!
