I'm a born and raised Idahoan... I'm telling you that we really do not want others to know about our little slice of heaven... Ppl come here and disrespect our parks, mountains, rivers, and lakes... Tear things up, leave their garbage behind, and don't understand the love we locals have for our home... Idaho is beautiful... We'd like her to stay that way...

Same goes for Oregon. We ate all so happy when the tourist leave & we can have back our playground of mountain lakes & fav places!
Always having to pack out garbage.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for respecting Idaho and not over sharing! Part of the adventure is to find these places by putting in the work to do so, otherwise you attract the wrong crowds! That’s how the 2nd hot spring closed down - too many people who wanted to enjoy the beauty of it without wanting to clean up after themselves. There would be glass everywhere, trash everywhere, even condoms and tampons 🤢
Enjoy Idaho and thank you for helping to keep her beautiful!

Just want to say… I am an Idahoan… wasn’t born here yet moved here when I was 12 and have spent 75% of my adult life with an official Idaho residence. Thank you for the respect of our wild and woolly wilderness spaces! ❤

The best hot springs are unmarked gems. Even those, at least when I lived there, were getting a lot of traffic. My favorite memories of Idaho wilderness.❤

Glad you enjoyed our state, it is beautiful. To those of us that remember when you could go camping without a reservation, raft rivers and only see one or two other groups and never see trash it is frustrating to see extensive growth. The reason the day use area was closed at the hot springs you were at ( not naming, but most Idahoans know) is there was so much trash in the restrooms. Pack it in, pack it out and pay the honor system parking fees!

I appreciate you sharing your epic moments about hot springs and the gorgeous parts of idaho...... But also not revealing their specific location.... If people want to see these beautiful places and appreciate these epic adventures, they should have to work for it.

I drove through the Idaho panhandle last summer on my way from Calgary to Seattle for a Concert, I didn't even intend to go through Idaho but was diverted due to an accident. All I did in Idaho was stop and get gas in Coeur d' Alene and that was it. But I fell in love with the area instantly and made a point of returning this summer. It truly does not disappoint. Great people too.

You guys were having so much fun. I think that is what RV/Van-lifer is supposed to be. There are many RV/Van lifer’s TH-cam bloggers are just letting times passing by. Born and raised in Idaho, lived all over for a while, came back here like a salmon to have kids and die. This video definitely gets a like except for one thing ... STOP PUBLICIZING IDAHO!!!! I preferred it being anonymous and completely uncrowded. We do have a beautiful state, tons of different types of terrain and you can have honestly different climates within a short drive. Not a lot of places where you can comfortably golf then high the ski hill for some night skiing in the same day.

Beautiful video, thx. I don’t get it, it’s so simple to leave a place nicer than when you arrived, it takes 10min and you feel good plus the next guy is even more stoked. Pay it forward! The worst I saw was at a Lake Shasta boondock spot after a 3 day weekend, I saw a lot of LOCALS leave all their trash. I guess they think the Rangers will collect it all? Nomads should be that much more motivated so we don’t lose access to these incredible places.

Love those hot springs! I think I'd rather the natural ones over the caudron even if you can't control the temp as easily. But I agree with keeping those locations on the DL.
