I love both f1 and NASCAR both of them are really great motorsports

I used to dismiss NASCAR and even Indy because of the unremarkable track but now that I've seen some of the race types in Project CARS 2 where stock cars occasionally race across tracks and the fact that Indy has a road course, I like them quite a lot more.
Plus, I do like ovals when they're thrown into a series to spice things up where top speed becomes more important than handling and acceleration.
I also like Le Mans Prototype racing where the challenge is just as great for the engineers as it is for the driver, you have to design a car that has durability to literally survive 24 hours of use, it needs fuel mileage to cut down on refueling pit-stops without the added weight of carrying more fuel, it needs a balance of top speed, acceleration and handling but I still like Formula One because it's just balls-to-the-wall acceleration and glued-to-the-ground downforce.

For some reason, it is oddly satisfying to watch a formula 1 car take off like that Ferrari did. Is it just me?

You could have reduced the downforce on the front wing of the F1 car. At those speeds the downforce is ripping it off. It allows for cornering at high speeds but reduces your straight line ability

I suspect the AI might react to traction. Like when it detects wheel spin it lets off. Notice it rarely revs out drag cars even if you raise the speed limit.
They only have ever maxed out after a long long stretch. Which most don't survive.
