Donny Osmond, he wasn't the first, but th he only one I think of when someone talks about the song. I follow him on Instagram. I was able to remember my parents anniversary because it's Donny's birthday
I agree with you. Vivienne is so genuine and sincere...very loving person I have no doubt. Her chateau is a masterpiece and Simon has to be incredible, too.
When pronouncing Emmaus.... think of the girl name, Emma. Then follow it with goose minus the G. Emma - rose. Or Em plus the pronoun my and oose. Em-my-oose, with the long i sound on the my. 😊
Just love your sister Ashlee's version of "I Love Paris"...simply fantastic! Simon is such a debonair carpenter and that bathroom is going to look great. Another awesome episode as usual!!
Actually, I thought that WAS Doris Day!! But after listening again I think Vivienne's sister's voice is a little clearer ...Doris was a bit 'breathy'. Will always LOVE her song "Que Sera Sera" which my mother sang to me as a child ...I think Doris sang this to children in the movie as well where the song was featured. @@mercedesbeard6974
I just looked up the etymology of Flamboyant & it directly traces to French origins ...in fact French Architectural origins!!! Furthermore, French Architectural origins in the 14th, & 15th century!!! So Vivienne what could be more perfect than to call yourselves a "Flamboyance of Chatelaines"!!! READ HERE: 4th definition of Flamboyant: Noting or pertaining to French Gothic architecture of the late 15th and early and middle 16th centuries, characterized by the use of flamboyant tracery, intricacy of detailing, virtuosity of workmanship, attenuation of parts, and frequent complication of interior space.
Wow, how did I miss that you are also a decorator Vivienne? You are so, so talented! And so generous and thoughtful. I messaged you and wrote a comment on the Chateau Diaries video about the beautiful jewelry you gave to absolutely everyone! So, so excited to see so many of my favorite Chateau owners out all shopping and hanging out together at LaLande!! What a treat!! Your two puppies together were absolutely adorable. Love from Mary in Southern California. 💗
Both sets of vases won the day, in my opinion! Absolutely stunning what can be found in French antique shops! Your gifts of jewelry were lovely, and each piece more gorgeous than the last! Most importantly, it's been delightful to see you all have such a a wonderful time together!
I just love how you put your vlogs together! Great mix all in one vlog! What a great group to spend the weekend with and a swap! Antique and thrift shopping, I mean who doesn't love that! 😂 Simon has on record who bought mone working lamps! Y'all make a great team, now for Vivienne to put her creativity in the bathroom! Looking forward to seeing it completed!
Great episode! I love when you film at LaLande - one never quite gets just how tiny Stephanie is from her own videos! Your gifts to everyone were very beautiful ❣️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
That is a beautiful plate that Phillip gifted you. I could see that on a wall to be seen often. Love the two bronze vases!!!! Excited for your bathroom renovations coming up. To top it off, your dog loves Lancelot. He needed that. Best.
Hi Vivienne & Simon, Nothing better than a weekend with friends a couple of new places for shopping and swapping antique treasures. I just love the Art Nouveau bronze vases they'll look great in the Chateau. Enjoy! Mark & Scott
Oh Vivienne! I loved seeing you and Simon and your found treasures! I do hope you all decide to make this a regular feature. We all have treasures to pass onto someone new! We cannot buy a Chateau in France at the moment. However, we are closing on our Georgia "Chateau" tomorrow! I'm so excited. I'm starting a TH-cam channel! I've been so inspired by you and Stephanie! Let the French decorating and lifestyke begin! The Southern Chateau! ❤
Oh, I haven’t seen those comments yet. He has a little sprain that’s taking ages to heal, especially for such an active puppy. Happily the vet isn’t worried. 🏰💖
Vivienne, you are a real hoot & such a joyful person!! Simon, you're not too shabby either!! The two of you make an amazing couple & I love Simon's DIY narrative!! It was clear you all had a wonderful weekend & hope to see a repeat of this retreat next year!! Blessings!! 🇺🇸
This was so much fun Vivienne seeing you all together and I like the idea kinship of chatelaine 's, and what a beautiful lady you are gifting them all with a piece of jewellery which are stunning. I think it is a great idea that you all visit each others chateau's to exchange things that you all don't want anymore.great fun had by all loved it.Take care and see you both soon 💕🌼🤗
Oh yes in Emmais you can find treasures ! I particularly love these old furniture that was made to last forever but, of course, nowadays they have to be repainted at least in a clear color ! For the song « puppy love » was sung by Donny Osmond (I still have the records) but my mother told me it was Paul Anka we sung that song before. Good to see you have had a good time with your friends at Lalande exchanging things. I wish you a good week and hello from near Paris ! ❤❤❤❤
Donny Osman sang Puppy Love. My son is a lieutenant colonial assigned at the Paris Embassy, so watching your vlogs and Stephanie 's allows me to experience France without being there. I am a trained artist too so I enjoy all the creative things done on the vlogs. A Canadian retired teacher in Vancouver, Canada.
What a spectacular location. I have stayed on Ile St Louis every time I have visited Paris. It's fabulous. Sadly no more visits due to health issues so you can imagine how thrilled I am to see my favourite area once again. Thank you!
How wonderful that you all have found each other; such an amazing blessing! I love when you're together having your adventures and sharing the love and passions of being chateux owners.
Hello my gorgeous and amazing chatelaine. It was a pleasure and honour to finally meet you. We adore you two. Hope to see you two soon. Sending you hugs from the Journey to the Chateau ❤😊❤
Looks like you all had a wonderful time, so sorry we could not make it, the gifts are a wonderful idea and your taste is impeccable ❤ hopefully next time we can meet everyone ❤
Hi Terry & Ash, you were SO missed over the weekend! We spoke of you often and with great fondness. I have some goodies for you when we see each other next! 🥰🏰💖
Having been a Chateau Diaries devotee...Im only just branching out to the other Chatelaines....and I have to say, Vivienne, you are almost ethereal, such a lovely aura around you. Your hubby is hilarious, just love his slightly acerbic wit. As for Beaudelaire.....I'm in love 😍 xxx
Merci pour ces belles vues de Paris, de Notre Dame et de la Tour Eiffel. Les plus belles vues de mon deuxième pays. J'ai passé 16 ans en France. J'aime la France et tout ce qui concerne Paris et la belle France. Merci. Love you thank so much beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
Chatter of Chatelains
Yes! I love that! 😁🏰💖
I second this motion.
And I came on to post that very thing a moment ago. Great minds.....
Interesting, I thought of chatter 😂😊
I think this is a perfect name as it sounds similar too. Brilliant.
Paul Anka sang Puppy Love first in 1960, but I still had Donny Osmond posters on my bedroom wall….it was in 1972, after all.
Our rooms must have matched! Donny was everywhere in my childhood bedroom. I had a strong case of puppy love!
I have Paul Anka’s record, with him sitting on a world globe, my dad loved Paul…and yes I love Paris ❤️
Donny Osmond, he wasn't the first, but th he only one I think of when someone talks about the song. I follow him on Instagram. I was able to remember my parents anniversary because it's Donny's birthday
I did not know Paul Anka sang it as well. You learn something new every day! ❤
@@debbiemilan2867David Cassidy as well…
Oh that was such a wonderful video. Thank you Vivian. You and Simon are very special people😍😍
You are so kind. Thank you! 🏰💖
I have to say you are a true sweetheart...thoughtful & considerate of all of your friends. Your smile is infectious. ❤️🙏
Goodness, you are too kind! 🥰🏰💖
I agree with you. Vivienne is so genuine and sincere...very loving person I have no doubt. Her chateau is a masterpiece and Simon has to be incredible, too.
Absolutely! Vivienne thought of everyone. She has a heart of gold!
A Regiment of Chatelaines? A Strategy of Chatelaines? A Kinship of Chatelaines? Yeah, that's the one. A Kinship.
Love it! 😁🏰💖
Absolutely fab-u-lous to see you all together, just loved it. Thank you so much for sharing ❤ xx
A brocante of Chatelaines 🎉
When pronouncing Emmaus.... think of the girl name, Emma. Then follow it with goose minus the G. Emma - rose. Or Em plus the pronoun my and oose. Em-my-oose, with the long i sound on the my. 😊
I agree the' Kinship of Chatelaines' Very nice!
Just love your sister Ashlee's version of "I Love Paris"...simply fantastic! Simon is such a debonair carpenter and that bathroom is going to look great. Another awesome episode as usual!!
Superb...reminds me a bit of Doris Day

A Chatter of Chatelaines
Thank you for filming and sharing your lives with us.
It is a pleasure and a privilege! I feel like we are a big, extended family. 🥰🏰💖
That's how many of them make a living (although not the smallest channels, obviously).
You're the one that should be thanked for watching them.
Vivienne, you guys really scored on the pair of Art Nouveau vases... beautiful..!!!
Puppy Love......the song was Sung by Donny Osmond.the time period was early to mid 70s.
Much respect
Daniel
A flamboyance of Chatelaines.
Oh! I like that!!
Better than a "Restoration" or "Upkeep" of Chatelaines ...even though these last two are more honest!

Love from Mary in Southern California. 💗
I hope she gets to show us her finish product of her work.
Hi Mary, you are so kind! Yes, the puppies were incredibly sweet together. 🏰💖🏰💖
An upkeep of chatelaines
Haha! I love that! 🏰💖
Both sets of vases won the day, in my opinion! Absolutely stunning what can be found in French antique shops! Your gifts of jewelry were lovely, and each piece more gorgeous than the last! Most importantly, it's been delightful to see you all have such a a wonderful time together!
I always enjoy your videos. It made me smile to see the pups together, I've seen Stephanie's video and yours. Delightful!
Just finished watching Stephanie's Chatelaines Video. I was wondering about Terry & Ash.
Hi Stephanie, they were supposed to come but had a last-minute conflict. We really missed them! 🏰💖
@ChateauLove Thank you for responding. Enjoying your channel from Pennsylvania.
A lovely vlog. Marie cooked so many meals and arranged all the flowers. I’m sure she loved the thank you gift you gave her.
I just love how you put your vlogs together! Great mix all in one vlog! What a great group to spend the weekend with and a swap! Looking forward to seeing it completed!
Thank you! I’m really looking forward to showing you the progress. Big hugs!!! 🏰💖🏰💖
A great, fun weekend with friends, thanks for sharing 🌟
Loved the little film of Paris on a week day. I must go back 🥰
I adore you guys, you are a beautiful couple ❤❤
Great episode! I love when you film at LaLande - one never quite gets just how tiny Stephanie is from her own videos! Your gifts to everyone were very beautiful ❣️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
Love all the chateaux channel’s perspectives from the get together ❤❤. Love the vases. Great find.
That is a beautiful plate that Phillip gifted you. I could see that on a wall to be seen often. Love the two bronze vases!!!! Excited for your bathroom renovations coming up. To top it off, your dog loves Lancelot. He needed that. Best.
It was really interesting to hear about how you choose your colour for paint after looking at the water, buildings and such. A natural way for you 😊
Beaudelaire and Lancelot are so cute together.
I love the twin vases. They're so pretty.
It's so nice to see old friends.
❤ from TX!
I love that you had so much of the puppies hanging out together. I feel they go along as they are still puppies. Playing is their game.
An "exuberance" of chatelaines! 🥰
A glitter of Chatelaines. A treasure-trove of Chatelaines.
Oh! I like these even better than a "Flamboyance" of Chatelaines ...even though flamboyance comes directly from French origins.
Hi Vivienne & Simon, Nothing better than a weekend with friends a couple of new places for shopping and swapping antique treasures. I just love the Art Nouveau bronze vases they'll look great in the Chateau. Enjoy! Mark & Scott
You have such a beautiful heart Vivienne. Such a lovely gesture with the gifts. Always magical adventures.

Congratulations!!! I wish you all the best and let me know when your channel launches as I’d love to watch. 🥰🏰💖
Everyone on The Chateau Diaries was asking g about your pup’s paw. Didn’t know if you had seen those. Hope all is well with him. 🥰😩

The Fellowship of Chateaux
Simon, you seem extremely knowledgeable about antiques in addition to your DIY skills, photography etc. I’d describe you as a renaissance man.
Simon says “thank you very much”!! 🏰💖
Thanks for all the love! Was great to see you again-Bonnie
Big hugs, Bonnie!! Can’t wait to see you again! 🏰💖

Ohhhhhh and you did soooo well at the brocantes. Amazing!!!

I didn't realize that your Château is Art Nouveau à la Française. What fun you've all had ❤
An emmaus of châtelaines!
'Puppy Love' by Paul Anka 1960 then Donny Osmond in 1972 and others... Lovely seeing all the chatelains and castellan's together.
Puppy love was sang by Donny Osmond in my generation, and I’m sticking to it! Lol hugs and love from Texas!
I absolutely loved the treasure swap. Good times with good friends.
So sweet to see the pups together. 🦋
I love your sister's voice. And I love when all the chateau owners get together. Great group of people.

Paul Anka wrote puppy love for Annette funacello. It went to number two on the billboard.
Thank you. Just so much fun.
Donny Osmond sang puppy love. Watching the two dogs play together is hilarious
Never a dull moment. 😊
The vases are beautiful. Luck you
Love the kinship and a chatter of chatelaines ❤❤❤❤❤Your gifts were so thoughtful. Hope you can reveal your apartment proud. It sounds lovely 😍😘

I had such a crush on Donnie Osmond
What fun! I love your vases and can’t wait to see their new home
A chuckle, cachophany, cotillion, camaraderie, carnival of Chatelaines ?
SIMON IS A GREAT FINISHING CARPENTER. VERY GOOD JOB. 🎉PANELING
A celebration of chatelaines
A chattering of Chatelains.
Looks like a great time. Love the vases & jugs you two found.
The view is the decoration. I normally shy away from all white but I think all white, crystal, silver and a timber floor
Thank you Vivienne and Simon for sharing your delightful vlog and friends!!!
That was so fun!❤
A chatter of Chatelaines? ❤
Puppy love x
What a great opening!
That blue Wedgwood brooch brings back memories. My late mother had the identical one.
Oh, how lovely. She was clearly a woman of style. 🥰💖💖
Gorgeous Chateau...
Your design project in Paris looks to be very interesting, I hope you get to share more of it with us.
I hope so, too! 😁🏰💖
