he literally tried to warn her here, so he supported her, and he is right - Brenda was a drama queen, and Dylan himself said here 'I'm quit playing games Bren, whatever you want'. Because she was the one who played games and lied to everyone. stop defending the awful behavior of Brenda.
Well, that's always the case with the daughters and fathers. They look at their daughters like more vulnerable and easier to get be used by boys/men. It always has been the cas and it always will be.

And in the end we all know who Dylan ends up with. Parents who look out for your good can feel like a drag, but they’re the ones who will be there when the one you set all your hopes on disappoint you.
Jim is way too wound up. I understand him & Cindy being upset at Brenda lying, but his "If you walk away from me now, things will never be the same!" was way too much. Jim didn't need to bark at Cindy the way he did either.
@LKR0722....Absolutely, considering Jim and Cindy had no problem allowing Brandon to have sex with other women in his room. However, it was a double standard when it came to Brenda.
I'm thinking that's when Dylan may have started wondering that even though Brenda loves him she might be with him partly to get at her dad because Dylan is the bad boy type that fathers might hate.
