But on the other hand, we need to applaud the show for raising awareness of a disease that is very much still around and prevalent to so many people's lives. With his history, it would have been more surprising if he hadn't contracted it.
Justin's death ruined the series finale for me. We went the entire four seasons watching his life crumble around him, especially the first nine episodes of season four, to only watch him lose his life over his mistakes. Of ALL of the characters, I would think he would've been the prodigy. The one to rise above it all and live a great life. He didn't even get to graduate high school! I'm disappointed that the show ended with a very negative and disappointing death.
I feel the same way😭 He was my hope that things could get better. But his death was just like Hannah's... a very slow suicide. And you'd think after Hannah's suicide Clay and Jess would've done everything the stop Justin from doing the same thing. But i felt like they were so rude to him this season, which helped him relapse on top of the death of his mom.

After all the shit you’ve been through you deserved happiness I hate how writers just wanted to kill someone off and they choose our favourite character leaving us all grieving. I’m still not over Clay and Justin’s last scene, this show began with “You’re not that innocent Jensen.” Clay and Justin literally hating each other to “I love you too man, Will you hold my hand bro?” “If justin is dead none of the rest of it matters” “He’s my Brothe,he’s my positive influence.” Damn I’m crying again ❤️😭

I knew an STD was coming they covered everything (suicide, school shooting, drugs, sex, teen pregnancy, etc) but the consequences of unprotected sex and just life. It wasn’t supposed to happen this way but it made sense due to season 1 and his back story!😢🤦🏾♀️

Justin dying made me sad but in a sense made me relieved cause his character would escape his addiction trouble.. it is heartbreaking though because you have to see Jess dance with him and then see clay mentally fall apart and it was so hard to see them suffer from it all.. but at the same time I feel as if that happening gave clay and Jess a back bone to be able to handle letting go of Bryce and Hannah and moving on but remembering the lesson they learned from all of these people. I myself had a hard time forgetting stuff in life and this finale helped me realize: people can screw things up in your life but you can walk away from them, get help, and move on and learn ways to cope with the bad so that you can get to the happy and to love those around you because it’s harder to do so and hating is so easy to do. Be kind everyone we don’t know what the other person is going through in life.

Brandon and Ross should play as best friends or boyfriends in another show or movie. -where they both survive and have a happy ending (with lots of fanservice)-

I know we all are sad after Justin's death , its not about the characters its the story of High school kids who are troubled you know there are different kind of kids out there , and if you're familiar to one of those problems you can find a character who have something incommen with you , if you're ever abused or bullied ( im sorry to say that) you can learn something from Tyler or Jessica and if you're a kid and you do drugs its not good for you. it's never going to end well, I sorry for Justin too trust me I cried for him . but this show is made to help troubled kid.

He did graduate his degree is seen at the end when clay holds it, but he never got to be there.
