@user-fw6qt4we1y When I said he cares about his stats more than winning, I mean it in the sense there are times where he only puts up numbers just to look respectable when in actuality it isn't. LeBron obviously cares about winning, but I feel he doesn't push himself enough to win like Michael, Magic, Kareem, Kobe, and Duncan did.

He scored a lot of his points in when his team was down 15+ points. 2017, sure he averaged a triple double in the Finals, but when his team needed him, he somewhat disappeared. 2018, he scores 51 in game 1 and then stat padded the rest of the series because he knew he wouldn't win after what J.R. did.

Shaquille O'Neal 3 finals mvps and best player on Lakers 3peat and carried Kobe Bryant to 3 sidekick rings which you forgot to mention
      2000 NBA finals
      Lakers 4 Pacers 2
      Kobe 15.6 ppg, 36.7% fg and 20.0% 3pt

Kobe Bryant 44.7% fg only 32.9% 3pt most missed shots in the NBA history not even top 10 player all time that's why Bleacher report has him #14
Kobe Bryant 15 losses seasons he didn't win ring including getting swept 3 times by Jazz 4-0 in 1998 playoffs and by Spurs 4-0 in 1999 playoffs and by Mavericks 4-0 in 2011 playoffs last I checked he doesn't have 20 championships

Here is a cool MJ Bulls regular season stat, excluding his sophmore season and 93 to 95 where he was retired, MJ has only missed 7 games out of 902. He played every single game in his 2nd 3 pete. 4-6 championship seasons were 82 games. He missed 6 games in his 2nd 3rd championship seasons.
Also he played all 82 his final season as a wizard! 20 misses as a wizard. 91 total misses as a player.
218 total misses as a bull if you count retirement and sophomore injury.
Lebron has done 82 1 time. 190 misses so far as a player. Lebron has been paid in his career for missing 2+ seasons through his career. He went to the finals like 8 straight years I do not think either guy have missed playoff games, did not look it up. There might be playoff 1 miss vs the Raptors when he was at the cavs, not sure. Lebrons played like 6-7 more seasons. Those 2+ seasons worth of basketball missed may be why he has been so durable. 1 shortened lockout, 2 shortened covid seasons.

This dude historic positioning will drop like a rock once the brainwashing fades away. The fakest superstar I’ve ever seen in any sport.
He is the only player I’ve ever heard the media encourage the masses not to evaluate by looking at his game. Instead, they encourage the sheep to just look at stats and analytics so they can manipulate their perceptions.
Actually had a LeFan tell me that you can’t evaluate a player by looking at the game because our eyes are biased. lol. So we have to look at analytics instead. It doesn’t matter that Lebron has minuscule bag, poor footwork, plays no defense, statpads, walks carries and offensive fouls his way to points almost every single possession, flops, cry’s, depends on refs to bail him out, has no post-up, no go-to shot, shoots and dribbles poorly, can’t shoot FT.
Nope don’t trust your eyes folks. So many players are better at the game of b-ball when you look at their game but nope. Let’s look at analytics as the only metric, that way we can pick and choose these analytics to make it appear Lebron is better.
Result? Ratings down, the masses don’t care for this eras brand of b-ball and are tuning out. Look at the rise of the anti LeMedia channels. Big push back by those who see through the smoke and mirrors surround the fake LeMedia goat propaganda. People starting to use their eyes and brains again.

The thing is, today's game is a lot more competitive and there are super stars everywhere when you compare it to Jordans era. The biggest difference though, Jordan never once cared about stats, his heart was always in it to win and in my eyes, that's the thing that makes him the greatest

Jordan came to the league to dominate. His stats came naturally. James came to the league to be a stat champion. The only place he excels are targeted, niche stats. He’s in it for personal glory. Not the game. And definitely not the fans. The league can’t see him retire fast enough.

I see many comments say "LeBron cares more about stats than winning". I argue this is not the case. LeBron cares about winning, a lot. After all he's trying to be the goat (even though he's not). And he's quite a winning player. However, it's HOW he wins that matters. Not all wins are the same. The way Jordan and Kobe won is different to LeBron, who would switch teams and play LeGM in order to win. This isn't winning the right way imo. This is why championships like the Mavs with Dirk, Toronto with Kawhi, these champions count for much more in my book, and I'd argue, in our.collective books.

This is the job, for Lebron to get all the flowers and make all the best players look like trash in comparison. Not just Jordan, but for Kobe as well. Trashing his legacy even though his legacy and impact was never ran by a narrative. If you have to pay tv stations and get in your knees to beg for recognition and respect, you know you haven’t done enough, and that’s just in general. Especially with what’s happening this season, it’s embarrassing and he and his fan base are obviously not going to admit it

Turnovers are the #1 thing that hurts a team and contributes to losing. And he's the only player in NBA history with 5,000 turnovers. Lebron also shoots 38% outside of 3 feet for his career. The numbers don't lie. Being big and making wide open layups and dunks doesn't make you great. It's why no one puts Wilt as the #1 player. All of Lebron's records are longevity records.
