Aaron the aerial videos are never redundant! I love them and it helps orient your property for me and I’m sure others..you and Laura are so genuine, your property is more beautiful every year due to your hard work…Laura is part of my morning ritual..thanks to you and your lovely families
I was always curious on where Douglas came from. I thought there was talk about him having another family and was going back and forth, but I guess he decided to stay at Laura and Aaron's house? Anyway I love seeing both of the kitties as well. :)
I just laughed at the TV commentary. At no time in the previous video did I think Laura was depriving Aaron of his dream, but I sure enjoyed that others were sticking up for him and your response to it. You two are simply delightful!
Negative comments on social media are an unfortunate given. The method you two have chosen to respond to negativity is priceless. Kudos to you! So appreciate the time, knowledge, and love that you both give to your Garden Answer!
I never cared for work parties either. I spent enough time with my coworkers already. My current employer has theme days during December that you can participate in or not and a buffett lunch that we can eat at our breaks. Works well.
As far as a holiday celebration for your employees, have them decide where they want to have lunch from one day and have it delivered for them and let them take a longer lunch that day. It's a simple, uncomplicated way to say thank you without disrupting everyone's evening or weekend plans. A suggestion for Wednesday videos - could your editor put together a compilation of Holiday Decorating over the years? It would be interesting to see how some of the various projects over the years have changed -- your lights, your containers, the portico, wreaths, and some of your indoor trees. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Watching Friday’s video, I was thinking Laura, Susan, and Monica all have such beautiful hair - so sweet to hear Aaron thinks so too! Nice to know I am not the only one distracted by your lovely hair!
I'm with you guys. Work Christmas parties are not my thing either and never went. I was always called out on it by my coworker. It never bothered me. 😊
At my real estate party this year, a florist came in and we all made a centerpiece with greens and flowers then ate food. It was so fun, people were amazed by mine so I mentioned Garden Answer many times!
Lol. I've stated this before but.... here in the South East, we get a lot of loud storms come through our area. We have 2 large and 1 small mainly inside dogs. None like loud noises. So, I discovered a few years ago, that if I put a Garden Answer Playlist on the TV with the volume up, it calms the dogs down. They love Laura's calm voice and even the gentle music you have on your videos. I've actually tried other types of videos and shows, but none have the same effect.😂😂 It's all fine and dandy unless the storms get bad enough to cause interference with the internet. 😂 It's very hilarious to watch the dogs.
My daughter has 2 cats and 2 dogs, she says cats are like roomies and dogs are like children. With the amount of work your garden is, you don't need extra children who will never mature.
1:43 This is so funny!! I was talking with a friend recently about the Christmas parties at one of my old companies. I always loved the Christmas (adults only) and summer (families) gatherings because the Marketing team was in charge and picked really nice places. And the food was usually very good. I got to see some places around the city that I had never seen before and wouldn't have any reason to visit aside from something like this. But I did usually have the same thought when it came to gifts (at this company and others) - just give us the money... Thankfully, part of the gift was usually a sizeable visa gift card or store gift card.
For Christmas Eve could Aaron please make a similar video with the Christmas lights? The original video was too short. A drone plus mostly walking tour with Christmas music would be awesome. Especially with all the frost. Nice break for Laura but freezing for Aaron. Lol
Hi guys, enjoying the 🎉 as usual. At about 12:15 Louise from Montreal asked where to get the eucalyptus and magnolia. I found eucalyptus at Walmart! It wasn’t as nice as what Laura got for her containers but works well. For seeded eucalyptus you might try Planterra in Dorval, the carry a huge amount of Christmas stuff and could maybe order it in for you.
The snow you’re trying to describe is “graupel”. I think they look like tiny foam pellets And room humidifiers placed strategically helps with sinuses, dry skin (rosy cheeks on kids) AND static. Someone who knows living at 9400’
Have you seen the TV's set up on a rolling easel? Roll it out when you want to watch and the roll back into corner of room when not in use. It might be a possibility for you. Love your channel as always. Just trying to make it work for Aaron.
Rumble is a TH-cam alternative. People were getting censored on TH-cam so went there. I would love to watch you there. I didn’t know you uploaded there.
That Home Depot cedar garland is SO MUCH NICER than the cedar garland at my Home Depot! Yours is thick and drapes so nicely; mine is so thin and sparse. Color me jealous! LOL. LOVE LOVE LOVE your outdoor containers this year, with the yellow twig dogwood. So elegant!
OMG I BURST OUT LAUGHING AT 40:44 The Angel is really the prettiest statue in your property you should really do a photo from each season of that specific view in every season because I think thats the best all season's view the spring with the redbud and summer with roses fall with the leaves and winter with the frost maybe make a video off all season's view from specific points in your garden that looks especially pretty would be a fun idea
Yes. I would use this pic as wallpaper on my laptop. I am mesmerized by that statue. I know it would be VERY costly to buy and have it placed, but I love it so much I would probably consider it, even at my age.
I did place an order for seeds and an ornament and ornament from Andrew's , everything was great! Loved doing business with them and your business, too.
When you were talking about trying a tree that’s not your favorite (like weeping cherry) just to revisit, or check out a new variety - it made me wonder again if horse chestnut is not your cup of tea. I have asked before if you’d ever try this one (they are beautiful IMO) and I never get an answer about them.
Laura, if you are struggling with your hair breaking. It could be caused from the lightener(bleaching/highlights). Also, use oil in the mid to ends of your hair after styling. Never before using a heating tool on your hair. P.S. your hair is absolutely gorgeous!
I live in Northeastern Michigan. Zone 5. There is a wonderful garden center nearby, but they close in the fall and don't open again until May. As you always suggest going to our local garden centers, I wonder if it occurs to you that many of us don't have that option..There are none open for miles and miles around. In fact, I don't know of any in all of Northern Michigan.
Love all your videos and able to see your family time. Do not worry about us on the days you want to take off to have family time; we definitely understand 😘❤️
I loved doing our Thanksgiving and Christmas luncheons at work. Never went to one away from work. But they enjoyed the luncheons I prepared. They brought sides or desserts.
Not to sound negative, but has anyone else noticed the video volume over the past week has been very quiet? I thought it was Laura’s lapel mic but the recap was very quiet as well.
It might be important to note that the forget-me-not's in the pond are specifically 'water forget-me-not's' - they're a marginal pond plant (and are not the same as garden, or wood, forget-me-not's) :)
Have you seen tvs that are in a low cabinet and there pop up when you want to use them? That would work in the great room and only block a window when in use.
Aron, my son made an ice cave outside for the Super Bowl one year he had a fire in the center food on his bar outside he even had the T.V outside just an idea.lol
Hmmm … Aaron , perhaps you could do one solo video each week now .. show your productive input in making Garden Answer such a hit amongst your many fans . Laura could sit and enjoy a coffee 😊
Answering the fairy lights sourcing question might seem super obvious, like duh they sell them everywhere. But I totally understand. This was the first year I ever purchased fairy lights. They are so fragile. There must be some that are better quality and more durable for repeated use. I'm sure the person who asked that question had the same thoughts I did. Yes, I can go to Amazon and find a million options, but will they last more than one use? I guess I'll find out. :-)
Hey there! Just a couple thoughts… fruit flies come IN ON THE FRUIT. 🤢 No joke. A scientist told me that. Wash your fruit. 🍎 🍑 🍌 Also…another word that makes me giggle when people of other regions say it: Cleh-meh-tis for clematis. They make it sound like a private body part! 😅😂😅😂
Here in the deep south, I have to immediately wash ant fruit with soap and water as soon as I bring it inside. This has prevented an infestation. This leads me to wonder about the grocery. The cool Temps must prevent them hatching in the store. Hopefully they are not using an insecticide !
There is an adjustable tv mount for fireplaces. I purchased it on Amazon, game changer! It’s remote controlled and you can move the tv down to eye level while sitting on the couch.
Haha! I had that exact experience with pronouncing a cotoneaster, my garden center employee looked at me so very confused. I’ll never forget. (PS still searching)
I love your videos! You seem like family after watching for so many years. Question: What happened to Cheddar? Did he die, move on, get rehomed? I miss him!
What about installing a projector with a retractable screen for an outdoor viewing space? Does the outdoor fireplace have enough room to host something like that? Or the grassy area near the Hartley? The kids would love it!
Aaron just buy the rest of the property next door and you will have 2 house, the other house may have a better layout that will give you what you want with the tv situation, this way it meet city bylaws.
40:44 Oh my word 😂😂😂 too funny!! I can’t believe that many people would just drive through your property, many of whom definitely know it’s your home?! How rude. I’m glad the gates have given you back your security, but I’m shocked you had that many unwanted visitors.
I’m not sure I caught you previously saying “off the kitchen” but I understood that as that is how people gather. What about putting in a retractable screen and projector? That way it wouldn’t block a window…until you were watching a game? Just a thought. AND I sent a message via FB about an odd post that invited me to respond but listed some “Jason someone”…It seems to not be real…was it?
It’s great when I see people who know their limitations on time and training for dogs in particular. I think it’s cruel for people get a dog just to have one. They don’t really have time or knowledge of how much attention a dog needs, then the dog ends up being neglected. Bravo to Laura and Aaron for making the choice “to not to”.

I'm in Georgia, zone 8, and I always plant my amaryllis in the landscape. They bloom in the spring and those beautiful blooms are well worth the effort.
53:40, work at a nursery too. I’m the same. Say it wrong, I don’t care. I won’t correct you unless you ask me. I certainly don’t have all the answers, so can’t expect a customer too either. 👍🏻
43:40 House renovation Videos are good, too. Maybe you could change something in the house and film it. Do you want to keep the big fire places inside and outside the house? Maybe you could asked an architect what's possible to change in the rooms. Doesn't mean you must do it in the end.

That little Douglas is such a character, and I love him and Russell ... they're standout stars of the show.
Yes they are !!❤
I agree and look forward to seeing them in each video. What caught my attention is how much they follow Laura and I love seeing them 🐈🐈⬛😻🐈⬛
I was always curious on where Douglas came from. I thought there was talk about him having another family and was going back and forth, but I guess he decided to stay at Laura and Aaron's house? Anyway I love seeing both of the kitties as well. :)
Aww, baby Russell. ❤ I still remember Dexter.
Aaron is a genius photographer!! An immense thank you for the beautiful scenic winter video!!!!
That video should be entered into a contest..
I just laughed at the TV commentary. At no time in the previous video did I think Laura was depriving Aaron of his dream, but I sure enjoyed that others were sticking up for him and your response to it. You two are simply delightful!
Agree! It was also hilarious when Aaron said, “I HAVE made all your dreams come true.” 😆
Negative comments on social media are an unfortunate given. The method you two have chosen to respond to negativity is priceless. Kudos to you! So appreciate the time, knowledge, and love that you both give to your Garden Answer!
We call the frost hoarfrost here in Manitoba 🇨🇦! What a beautiful video!
Agree with Aaron. A ponytail every now and again would give a nice look. Yes, your hair is beautiful
I never cared for work parties either. I spent enough time with my coworkers already. My current employer has theme days during December that you can participate in or not and a buffett lunch that we can eat at our breaks. Works well.
Douglas said, "Don't mess with my brother Russell ❤
Oh baby Russell. Thanks for that clip
I love Laura talking about her hair! She’s every woman’s best friend. ❤️❤️❤️

I'm with you guys. Work Christmas parties are not my thing either and never went. I was always called out on it by my coworker. It never bothered me. 😊
Regarding the company partys: Spoken like a true introvert 🤣 I also don’t go to those for years now but I would sure love the money
Douglas is a protector of Russell and the property, like a personal protection dog. Lol So cute.
At my real estate party this year, a florist came in and we all made a centerpiece with greens and flowers then ate food. It was so fun, people were amazed by mine so I mentioned Garden Answer many times!
Great idea!

It's very hilarious to watch the dogs.
6:39 Just so I can see Douglas in action again and again😅
Let’s all agree that IF one starts a question with , “Do you worry about…?” Laura will inevitably answer in the negative.
And this is probably what I love about Laura the most. It's gardening at the end of the day. Not exactly life or death situations.
Yes to pony tails Laura! You are so beautiful!
She doesn’t like ponytails
She is beautiful but no to ponytails.
the girls (Laura, Monica and Samantha) all inherited Mom's great hair!
Oh my goodness that overlay with Laura’s face… pretty funny.
Douglas!!! 😂 I never would have expected that behavior from that sweet, precious kitty 😂😂
OMG! Taylor - that statue eye editing! I had to rewind twice just to take it in LOL
Have a retractable screen! Go Bills ! ❤️💙😆
I have to agree, I hated the "office parties", "office picnics". etc. yuk I never went.
I agree with Aaron on your hair.
I loved this recap. My favorite part was the saga of Russell becoming an outdoor cat.
My daughter has 2 cats and 2 dogs, she says cats are like roomies and dogs are like children. With the amount of work your garden is, you don't need extra children who will never mature.

Christmas Eve? That's a hard pass. They need family time.
@@latherandlace It would be posted on Christmas Eve, not taped that day. 😀
@connieconley8496 well that would be nice

I could have watched the video of the frost forever. Please make the next one longer (please) .
The snow you’re trying to describe is “graupel”. I think they look like tiny foam pellets And room humidifiers placed strategically helps with sinuses, dry skin (rosy cheeks on kids) AND static.

That Drone Frost Tour was Great - good work, Aaron! Also Love Douglas and Russell - they add such 'Life' to your videos. Merry Christmas! 💗🌲🎄
Rumble is a TH-cam alternative. People were getting censored on TH-cam so went there. I would love to watch you there. I didn’t know you uploaded there.
Me too.
Being in NC we don't get snow hardly ever. It is so wonderful to see your winter wonderland! Please show more winter frost videos!! Thank you!
So elegant!
I am with Aaron. Please wear a ponytail and the natural curl, it would be awesome and you would look lovely either way. Please.
I love her hair.
9:20 yes let's see the curls. My daughter has beautiful curls I bet you do too
Our town collects wild cats then nueters then takes them back to keep pests down. Works for no spraying but no bad pests.
TN Zone 7b and I have beautiful Amaryllis planted in my garden! You just have to make sure they’re in a protected spot!

Way to go Douglas 😂
Rumble is a very active platform. I had no idea that you had an account there.
I did place an order for seeds and an ornament and ornament from Andrew's , everything was great! Loved doing business with them and your business, too.

Love all your videos and able to see your family time. Do not worry about us on the days you want to take off to have family time; we definitely understand 😘❤️
I wish our outside kitty was more like Douglas! She just hides when other kitties come into her territory!
40:44. Had to stop the video....😅
Me too ... the likeness is uncanny and very clever! ~loved it~
I loved doing our Thanksgiving and Christmas luncheons at work. Never went to one away from work. But they enjoyed the luncheons I prepared. They brought sides or desserts.
Hugs love Aaron and Laura!😊 your best hugs kids and crew!😊
For the person who asked, those Roberts and Stevens Potter pots are available on Amazon. I searched Stevens Potter plant pots.
Douglas.....way to go!
Could you put holly bushes in pots like you have done with Japanese maples?
Not to sound negative, but has anyone else noticed the video volume over the past week has been very quiet? I thought it was Laura’s lapel mic but the recap was very quiet as well.
Yes. I have my volume up to max
Yes, I just commented this. I can barely hear Aaron and the commercials blow out my ears. Can't get to the remote fast enough.
Russells baby pictures ❤❤❤❤❤
Audio is very low and quiet
Added bonus: the dogwood twigs sometimes take root if left until spring!!!
It might be important to note that the forget-me-not's in the pond are specifically 'water forget-me-not's' - they're a marginal pond plant (and are not the same as garden, or wood, forget-me-not's) :)
Has anyone else noticed that the volume seems to be lower lately?
I can barely hear the video today. It's the first time I've noticed the volume being so low.
Have you seen tvs that are in a low cabinet and there pop up when you want to use them? That would work in the great room and only block a window when in use.
Your videos have inspired me so much!!! Thank you both for what you do! I'm saving for a green house so I too can play in dirt year round!!!
Aron, my son made an ice cave outside for the Super Bowl one year he had a fire in the center food on his bar outside he even had the T.V outside just an idea.lol
I have a midwinter fire dogwood shrub. It’s yellow at the base , orange in the middle, and red at the tips. It literally glows in the winter!
For the "TV Man Cave" solution, maybe try researching motorized mounting that could lower a TV screen from your ceiling...
Hmmm … Aaron , perhaps you could do one solo video each week now .. show your productive input in making Garden Answer such a hit amongst your many fans . Laura could sit and enjoy a coffee 😊
Guys buy the house from your neighbor!!! make it the party house lol
have a great week
Thanks for a calming break…really needed that today 💕👍💕

YAY! More shop videos! FUN!!!
🌸🌸🌸
Haha! I had that exact experience with pronouncing a cotoneaster, my garden center employee looked at me so very confused. I’ll never forget. (PS still searching)
What would a frost tour at night with the Christmas lights on look like?
I love your videos! You seem like family after watching for so many years. Question: What happened to Cheddar? Did he die, move on, get rehomed? I miss him!
He went to Bethany's farm, I think.
Bethany took him

Perhaps one of those TV’s that disappear into a console table.
Terra cotta pots are Robert & Steven’s . Can be purchased on Amazon
It's weird people think everyone should have dogs. If you want dogs, have dogs, they are a TON of work, not everyone has to do what you do.
Agree!
Have you ever thought of a projector and screen set up? The projector is mounted on the ceiling and the screen rolls up when not in use. You could hide it behind a valence and only block a window when in use on those rare occasions.
Most “man caves” have all the things you need, wet bar, large screen tv, bathroom, table and chairs, large sofa and recliners. Come on guys you can do it upstairs!!!
I'm in Georgia, zone 8, and I always plant my amaryllis in the landscape. They bloom in the spring and those beautiful blooms are well worth the effort.
WOW to the deterring of 5 cars a day -I thought you were being preemptive. I am so glad you did it! Privacy and safety is so important.
53:40, work at a nursery too. I’m the same. Say it wrong, I don’t care. I won’t correct you unless you ask me. I certainly don’t have all the answers, so can’t expect a customer too either. 👍🏻
. Rumble is like a natural tincture you made in a see of synthetic pills...maybe you should take a look sometime lol
Your parents need to add MORE of their beautiful Christmas ornaments online.
Good morning! Great video!!
43:40 House renovation Videos are good, too. Maybe you could change something in the house and film it. Do you want to keep the big fire places inside and outside the house? Maybe you could asked an architect what's possible to change in the rooms. Doesn't mean you must do it in the end.
Good morning from Delaware Garden Answer friends.
I'm in Delaware, too! Wilmington area
We are in zone 8B and the house that we live in has Amaryllis that were planted by the previous owner. I was surprised to see them coming up and didn’t know what they were until they bloomed .lol
