Recorded 1/12/24. It can be incredibly painful to think we lost or forfeited peace through our thoughts or actions.
But is this possible if there is nothing apart from the loving reality that we are? We may seem to shame ourselves for the shame we foster for thinking otherwise, thus perpetuating a cycle and falling into a depression. But isn't shame the illusion? And are we shaming ourselves or are we only thinking a thought in the mind, and perceiving its consequence that also doesn't have any power to affect our loving reality?
Letting this settle gives way to emotions that we may have suppressed and thought unworthy of feeling. Thus we are opened to how we are already unconditionally worthy of who we are.
Not blaming means not attempting to substantiate or find cause for what's 'wrong'. You could say, placing blame in others or ourselves is a desire to be guilty; and it's up to us whether or not that's a decision we want to make (and an unpenalized experience we want to have).
It's also gladdening to remember that appreciation of our experiences - whatever it is we've gone through - does NOT have to be mutually exclusive from dismissing an illusory identity.
