It very well may be the best BBQ grill cleaner. I just have a problem when the steel fibers wear off, stick to the grill and then get in to the meat placed on the grill.

It’s bristle free and you can always rub down with something else afterwards

Thank you! This was a very helpful comment of a way to clean without going out and buying a tool. Much appreciated!

Nope...prefer n onion and lime juice, cleans amazingly and also disinfects...
No more worrying about loose bristles getting stuck in the grate, getting caught in ur meat and then it puncturing ur mouth/gums/ TOOTH!!!!
    Plus it smells amazing lol..

Rubbing an onion on the grated is just terrible in comparison

Were the grilll grates heated before cleaning? I heard him say 500 degrees at the beginning of the video.

Yea he preheated. And you want to with the BBQ Daddy/Scrubb Daddy thing. Its a steel wool sponge/pad thing and you soak it in water before brushing.
It uses steam and abrasion to clean

Nurse here. The steel filaments will break off. If a piece of this gets lodged in your mouth/throat and gets infected, it is a nightmare to surgically excuse it. Always been scared of that. Maybe a cloth or even paper towel used to wipe down the grates after using this tool will minimise the risk, or even rinse them off. I love SOS pads in the kitchen, so I think this is a grate idea.

I saw someone pressure wash a grill before, is that acceptable to do or is it bad?

I always wondered the same lol just worried it may break Some of the more delicate parts of the grill

I pressure wash mine twice a year. It works great! I take the grates and burner covers off and wash those separately. I also remove the drip tray and grease cup and wash those separately too. I don't spray the actual burners though. I pressure was everything BUT those and wash around them. It's not going to hurt them getting wet, you just don't want to hit them directly with a lot of pressure. They shouldn't really need cleaning anyhow because they should be covered with burner covers.
