hello from a Jewish listener!! i really appreciate you guys talking about Hanukkah recognition. i work in a small grocery store in a small Catholic town, so its really heartbreaking when people refuse to say Happy Holidays and make a big deal about it. i also LOVE how Hanukkah is lined up this year. the anticipation grows for christmas while i’m celebrating Hanukkah and then the last night everyone celebrates! i must say i am half Catholic so we do celebrate Chrismukkah:))) candles during the week, presents all on chrismukkah!

The firetruck goes around our neighborhoods too! They throw candy like parades! (I live in south Louisiana). Our parents told us they paid Santa! And that's how we got our gifts. But now that I have kids we don't do Santa with them.

My aunt would take us to floor 0 of the building to see if we could find the star Santa was arriving in and once my stepmom called us we would go back upstairs and the living room would be full of presents (we do Christmas on the 24th) and Santa would be going up the stairs. One year my dad made the mistake of holding my brother and he smelled his perfume and pulled the bear off. That was the last time Santa came into our house 😆 28:00

The sriracha shortage started at the beginning of the year, The only places that I am typically able to find it is at Asian markets. I have a thing for sriracha and it's a must have in my house.
On Christmas Day my family go watch a movie at the theatre, the last 2 years we haven’t bc of COVID but Christmas Eve we go to extended family house and play white elephant but when I was younger there would be gifts from aunts and uncles

You're all very respectful of Mike being Jewish and his religious customs... but when it comes to Christianity you have no problem saying you dont have give a f about it or why people celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday. Not sure where that disconnect is. If you're going to call yourselves good influences and open minded individuals then don't be hypocritical and show hate towards the people you disagree with based on their religion. About the flying thing to see the parents.... I've been with my husband for almost 10 years and I don't remember him ever going to a holiday with my family besides Halloween . Now , I will say my family and his family all live close together and he sees more of mine than he'd like through out the year ... now my point in the matter , he's literally trying to plan a visit with my side of the family that is out of state , if ya man can't visit every now and again , is he your man ?
