You would think that it would overcrowd the pla to but they seem to thrive doing it this way. Even in nature it appears nothing wants to be left alone because the different plants seem to encourage the other plants to grow. That may be a sermon for ya. I thought we had 21 raised beds but then we did a recount just before spring and we have 30 throughout our place lol. I thought that's a little excess. Oh well. The raised beds are a great back up to help get things going early before the in ground garden can be installed. So we plant these first. Our compost has been a real blessing for these beds as well. Appreciate ya sister. Take care
Each plant ought to yield at least 15 to 20 tomatoes that's typical here, but An old farmer told me he used to get a half to 3/4 a bushel per plant. That's some serious production. Take care sister appreciate ya watching
It is beginning to look wonderful! I like how you did the corn! How long do you have to let chicken manure cool down til you can use as fertilizer? God bless y'all.
The corn ring is just because I think it looks cool. I have 11 rows in the in ground garden. I let the chicken manure sit from the time I clean out the coop usually in late spring early summer till I fill beds back up before spring the next year. I turn it throughout the year.i would say at 8 months for me before I use it. Our rabbit manure I throw on beds as I get it. Hoping for a great harvest. Appreciate ya sister take care.
