    Attitudes have to shift toward the job market in Kenya in general. The common narrative is that to be successful you need to get a degree and a white collar job. Most African parents do not see the arts as a valid career choice so artistic children end up in institutions of learning killing their talents while learning useless professions that they could care less about and burdening themselves with awful student loans.
