I've always loved Eminem but not until the past couple years did I start really paying attention to his lyrics and even if you ain't an Em fan, if you just listen to his lyrics and what he's actually saying you can't deny that he is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, lyricist of all time!

Em is just from a different time. A different culture than the great majority of artists today in general. No one is as dedicated to their music as he is pretty much. "this is it, this is what you eat, sleep, piss and shit"..and I think that's genuine. When he's on his game, rap is all he does.
I agree and thats what kills me about lil windex he does little skitz like he Em and everything he says hes rapping them and the subjects that he uses as "Eminem" are so comically brilliant and at the same time fit what you would think or expect that would be going on in that twisted mind we all have grown to love. Personally, I feel like the chorus fits this song perfectly. It's inspirational and sums up what the song is about in a concise package, and the more calm tone of it is a good juxtaposition of Ems aggressiveness. Great reaction as usual though.
This song is just fire. No other way I can say it, and I know stevie likes aggression loves it the more aggressive it gets but me personally I love the duality of it its just like system of a down used to do it, it gets you high as hell and then drops you in an instance and its super calm like the calm before the storm and then its gets back to high as fu*k again in just an instance like it came down. Its just does it for me personally and its like its own art style bringing together the two ends of a spectrum that are in a big contrast to each other and go from one to the other. Its very beautiful in my mind and I think actually being all aggressive makes it repetitive and it loses some of its beauty and Im sure thats what he was aiming for and thats why he did it like many other tracks that he has very soft voiced artists do the chorus like skylar gray and I just love this artistic choice.

Mmlp2 is eminem's best album from last decade in my opinion.
The cleverness of his lyricsm and how everything tied into the major theme was crazy. This seemed more like a recovery track though

@@parth631 MTBMB is great sonically, but like he's not really emotionally there (except for maybe Darkness). It's like after Revival he decided no longer to be vulnerable publicly and artistically. He just made better sounding tracks covering the exact things he's already explored in past albums. Revival was his last deep, organic project, and MMLP2 to me was his most complete offering - in terms of production and content.
