Watched this one 3 times because I have a crush on this house has everything. Place to put car , outdoor space that is private mountain views. I don't speak Italian, but would take classes to learn. I was fluent in French 30yrs ago , I took 5yrs of french in high school and at university. But not many people in USA speak French, so I littery had no one to speak French with 💔 heartbreaking because I spent alot of time learning French. 💔

Great place with amazing views - the whole reason to moove to Italy in the first place, IMO, is for views like that! Terrace window needs replacing, though. But A nice townhouse with a yard just big enough for growing tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, zucchini, and flowers is perfect. And I would start every day for the rest of my life with coffee and breakfast out on that terrace with those views. Every single day.

Beautiful place and village. I’m wondering how long the village and its services will last. Population in 2007 was less then 1000 people. Today it’s probably half. That is my biggest concern with those mountain villages.
Vittorito has over 820 residents and a good number of holiday homes. It is fast becoming a hotspot for foreign buyers and is close to many larger towns and work. There is a fantastic winery in the centre and other businesses that draw people there

It's Italy, that is life, unfortunately Italy suffers from these rare events like most of the world but you don't have to worry about that.

the only way this kind of video would be better, is if I were watching a video about someone living their life out of that space.. instead of just selling the space. Slaves love the dream.. but free people love to live. And the place is nice, but it's sad too.. because people are leaving it, for some reason. People don't build their own space for their life.. they *borrow* spaces from the banks.

Always mention there are bars & restaurants in town but never mention if there are grocery stores, hardware like stores, medical care, etc.. Do only bars & restaurants matter to you and the rest mean nothing? How about we include information in the town / city as to what IS and what IS NOT in the town / city from the perspective of grocery stores (type / how many ), hardwear stores (how many), medical care ( what type ) and if it does not exist in the town then identify in the next closest town those amenities are and what the distance is. That is what we Americans call full service. That is how we do it and sell real estate. We do not just care about pubs, bars, restaurants.
You could just look on the map of the area....it shows the closest hospital is 10 minutes away...it will also show you everything else that is nearby. US listings do not traditionally show that type of data in a real estate listing video.

I agree that a quick mention of other town amenities would be nice. I must say that I’ve been to Vittorito and what ever this particular town doesn’t have, others nearby will. Having spent two months in this area some years back, just about everything you need is within a half-hour driving radius from this town.
Are you seriously using TH-cam as a source for purchasing a property? You'd have to go to the respective website to process anything anyway so does it really matter? You'll probably find the channel caters towards its predominant audience, of which they'd know them the video statistics where that audience comes from. Yes it would be nice to have all the information about the town and locality, but personally when I'm looking at anything I'm doing a lot more research than just what the agent tells me.

FYI approx 5km away is popoli with a hospital and DIY stores. There are grocery stores in the village but obviously smaller stores, bigger stores can be found again in Popoli.
Hooe that helps you and by the way, I do not take a commission, I take a fee for a full package of helping you buy a property in Italy. And yes to some bars and restaurants are important especially if it is a holiday home.

Quaint villages in Italy are cheap because there’s a lot of them (they’re not special attractions by Italian standards), many of them don’t have much of a local economy and have an elderly, shrinking population.
If you’re confident you can work remotely, commute for a while to reach centers of employment or just don’t need to work to make ends meet, there’s nothing wrong with these places. Well, you might also need to renovate or work around quirky Italianisms in the home that might be really, really old. That’s character.

@@friuliancottage I've red many negative comments all over youtube regarding just that...people expect to go to Italy and BE pampered and tailored to THEM...they expect going to the bank and have someone speak English to them, or go to the post office and expect the same thing... I've been in USA 38years, it toke me 5 years to get adjusted mostly because of the language, eventually I learned it.... DON'T move to Italy unless you are willing to adjust to THEIR life and standards, you WILL NOT be liked by the locals if you are an ARROGANT person.... and when I SAY adjust to their life that of course includes BUREAUCRACY
