I am settled in Kerala, however basically a Tamilian. As per me the original version in Telugu is better than Pokiri. Police uniform was not suiting Vijay at all.

Hey hi! If u have time, try to watch "Va da Va da thozha" from SIVAKASI MOVIE... Yes its thalapathy movie
Nobody can beat Vijay bcos he is a complete actor. Whether it's action, emotions, style or comedy all are very unique.
The others actors dance like dance master and just wanted to prove their steps skills. But only Vijay dance like a hero with fantastic facial expressions and go along with the characters in the movie.
That's is why his dancing look very special and unique from others.
Take for instance other heros if act as police inspector or CID, they keep thick moustache and shout like rowdies and not giving importance to the uniform.
Like what surya, vikram , lawrence did in their movies.
But Vijay will show his smartness, sharpness and alertness and deal with coolness.
In 60s movies only MGR did that style like Devivathai, Mugarasi, En Kadamai, Palandu Valga etc...
That's why after MGR it's Vijay who will rule Cinema and if he enters politics he will win there too.
Vijay is LIKE LYRE bird.lyre birds immitates voice of other birds,sometimes the original bird voice may be imperfect but lyre does it perfectly,like that actor vijay is not professional dancer,but when it comes to dance he masters the master level.and do it perfectly....👍🎉🎉🎉

Just wanted to inform, Thalapathy has already done a cameo in the bollywood movie "Rowdy Rathod". where he appeared in a song along with Akshay kumar and Prabhu deva, its called " Chintata" song.
