Oh Pujal! What an incredible journey your family had maneuvering through the medical world and dealing with diagnosis after diagnosis and finally after much perseverance coming out on the top of the mountain with your arms raised high. You all did it and should be so proud, it truly takes a whole family participating as I well know too. Your daughter is such a shining example of courage and commitment. She will make a wonderful doctor if that is what she decides to do with her life. Her outlook on life is so inspiring. And you my friend are a wonderful mother and your gut feelings about the SCD and insisting on continuing with it despite the doctor's hesitancy has given your daughter a normal life.
