Can't wait to get into this game again! Got 338 hours in it the first time and there seems to be so much new content, I can't wait. Was amazing back then even. Boy they sure haven't done anything good with the characters aesthetics though my god, lmao. Thanks for the video! Definitely want to know how the open world is integrated with the mission system.
Nice one. Well explained, but unsure if someone that doesn't know the game, will understand it. But at least it explains, why it isn't a money grab. One of the best survival games around.
thnx for the update and explanation now I will get it now, honestly all the things you said is the things I am concern about I am convince with your explanation.
The game really is incredible. Even over a year ago when I had my first stint with it it was incredible. Most amazing games I get about 150-200 hours in and with this one it was 338. That's pretty amazing!
Some people have multiple characters with different talents. You might have a farmer that plants crops that do not die. Another character may be able to make storage with extra space. There are many many character builds. Your main character may be on the planet but you need a lot of crops planted. You bring your character back to the station (DO NOT bring anything you crafted on the planet with you - they WILL be destroyed). Send your farmer down, plant your crops, then bring your character back. Send down your main character.
I do my best.. I fell some games are overlooked sometimes do to misinformation or lack of information. One of the main reasons I started making videos.. that and I love playing them! 😁
I don't have a problem with the monetization system, as long as you get a full game without buying dlc it sounds good. Especially the fact that you can tame animals without needing to pay extra, and play with people who have different dlc sets. Considering how ridiculous microtransactions get, and the amount of content, the prices aren't even crazy. Not every game can be factorio, where I paid $20 and played over 10k hours. 😂 I felt so bad about how much value I got from that game I bought a copy for everyone I knew, and didn't care when they never installed it 😂
Your explanation is very good! But I have a question. In my open world game, a count is appearing and I also can't go to the different biomes next to it.
I have only seen the out of bounds count down on missions, open world maps should not have them as far as I know. I could be wrong.. maybe stop by the official Icarus Discord and ask there.

You will see it in action in some upcoming episodes.
Excellent review for new users (me).
Thank you for the feedback! 😁

I plan on making a ICARUS For Dummies type of video, just need a little free time to put it together. Hopefully that will pair up with this video.

You do a better job explaining the game then the game does😅

I have really enjoyed the game so far and can't wait to check out Prometheus in Season Three.
