I would not have mounted it on the flat like this. I have one of these in my boat and I mounted it on a vertical panel. If it gets humid and water condenses or it rains the cup will fill with water and can be an electrocution hazard.
Do you have any videos on suggestions for marine battery upkeep? Like how often you should charge it, if you should let it drain down to a certain point before charging, if you should charge it again after it has sat unused for a certain amount of time.
@@mvboutdoors 🤔 what about receiving questions (with pics or videos) from viewers regarding there build for you to give your opinion on and give tips or advice. That would also open up the amount of topics you could cover and number of different boat styles. There is probably a bunch of people out there that would want to get there boat on your channel as well. Also, I like the videos (and shorts) of you running your boats. There aren’t that many. Also, videos of regular maintenance on the motors, like fogging the motor for winter, changing water pump, checking/adding oil to a 4 stroke, replacing lower engine oil and what to buy for it.
This would be great to replace an exposed cup holder on my bow deck that leaks rain into bow storage area. Can connect to bow battery charger than. Hopefully the Ac Plug weather cap seals well.
