I'm glad that you safely delivered Calli. I hope you're healing well. My sister went through almost the same thing 19 years ago with brachial plexus, which affected my nephew's shoulder. With therapy, exercise and strengthening, the damage on his shoulder is almost 100%. He just can't raise his left hand all the way up. With his injury, he was observed by sick kids for research up to the age of 18. His experience, impact, healing and growth was noted for the study. Make sure you see the pediatrician to ensure that theres no nerve, muscle and bone damage. So that if there is, it can be corrected and prevent any permanent damage. Congrats! You have a very beautiful baby girl! Regarding libre… it’s a misnomer. Other than highest standard of living, BC has the highest taxes in Canada. Our healthcare system comes from our own pocket paying ridiculously higher taxes compared to other provinces. And it is a priority system in time of medical emergency. You just hope you won’t have to wait too long or too late. Sorry but that’s how it works with the kind of healthcare system we have. Still better than nothing, di ba? God bless your wonder family!
