Clendening Lake Ohio - Day 1 - Surprising Catches

- The First Day of this adventure leads us to Clendening Lake after a change in plans to avoid the heavy boat traffic of the holiday weekend. We fish hard all morning through a slow bass bite cracking jokes to stay alive. When we change up lures the magic starts to happen, and Pavel crushes it back at the lake house.

As much as it sucked it was cool to catch a variety of different fish. So grateful they let us stay there, such a lovely place, it was my brother in laws grandparents cabin. The Byron saga only gets better 🤣

You need some nice pedestal seats for that boat. Nice boat otherwise.
The fish at the 10:30 mark is a saugeye.
Looks like a Fenwick Rod and a Pflueger reel , I have the same set up, good quality, reasonably priced. No skunk for you. The Rooster-tail is awesome for trout and smallmouth , apparently white bass and walleye as well. Man I miss my drone. Looking forward to the next one, keep em coming.
Nailed it! That rod/reel combo has been my go to for 3 years now. Best bang for the buck in my opinion. If you noticed Pavel put a Pflueger reel on that ugly stick I gifted him also 😁 I havent tied on a rooster tail in ages, not sure what made me there either. That lure soon becomes the MVP of our trip haha!

We like taking the kayaks out to leesville lake to fish the north marina is a nice place too
That last fish was a blurr fish. Lol. I'll bet its a rock bass.
🤣🤣 unlike any rock bass I have ever saw. Although it could be a variation 🤔 They are super aggressive I know that
