Used the video to change air filter on 2016 A6 C7.5 with 3.0T (not TDI). A few comments - the hose assembly connecting the air box to the engine is very stiff, it will take some finessing to get the air filter out. The mass air sensor was not located in the air box neck in my car (thus no cable to disconnect). Once the air filter was removed, the bottom of the air box was filthy with leaves and sand. Take time to loosen the sand and vacuum thoroughly. Getting the new filter in place took the same level of finessing to work around the rigid hose assembly. Thanks for the video.
I tried it and gave up lol. Got the hose off connecting the airbox but then couldn’t figure out what all to remove near the engine to remove that hose assembly so that you can actually get your filter out. Why Audi?! I just decided to order an IE intake to make it easier in the future.
This video is awsome, very clear and u have made it very easy to follow. Tbh I haven’t found any video as good as this. Please keep making videos on A6 such oil change, inspection etc
What a well filmed and commented video. Really helpful to see how to access the air filter, and to be able to take the chance to clean the mass flow device with proper cleaner at same time (I have 0101 fault). Thanks.
You don’t want to put k&n filter because k&n filters are oiled filters and it will fuel the mass air flow (maf) sensor and you car will run like shit Just use a regular dry air filter and you will be happy
Hay man. Is it possible to attach cone shape metal air filter on to my A6? I had it in my old car and I loved it but the Audi seems a lot more complicated...
Hello, i watched your video with PCV replacement for TT, i bought a new OEM one for my eos 2.0 tfsi and after i put it on car everything trembles and goes clogged. What could be? its possible the new pcv to be broken ?
@@sunkazz i ve got error on air filter, the pcv cant be installed wrong cause i put the old one back to the car and everything is ok. I think that new pcv is broken
@@azoxro6842 I have got (spring) symbol blinking in the driver info..Is the Air filter change symbol? The car doesn't accelerate above 2500 RPM ..What will be the problem?

Do you think it would be a good idea to change this to a cold air intake? Or just leave it stock?
Well done.

Scan the car with OBD2, this will give you more info. It is possible that wrong PCV was installed.
