The visitors’ pass fee should be 50% less for visitors from Thailand and Lao, and 30% less for all visitors from other countries within ASEAN. The reduced price/fee for those visitors mentioned above can encourage more people in those countries to come and visit Cambodia and explore the ancient temples. And travel restrictions and requirements should be ease for everyone from ASEAN member countries.

@@Bongleang963 its only my opinion in promoting tourism within the region. It can help the locals to have a better earnings. There are many ways to attract foreign tourists and I don’t see the government is doing enough to bring in more tourists. Thailand attracts many more foreign tourists every year and earn much more income without selling a single ticket to their beaches and resorts. Cambodia has Angkor Wat and beautiful beaches, not to mention about friendly people and rich culture. And to rely on selling tickets to Angkor Wat without any kind of promotion and discount Cambodia will continue to stay behind its neighbors for many years to come In tourism industry. Asian tourists are not as wealthy as the Westerners, but they will come to explore Cambodia if we can have them having the feeling that they’re being treated as close as a local. I think reducing fee is one way to have them get that feeling. I also noticed that Cambodians are still practicing an old tradition in doing business, for example, they will sell anything that’s sold most at a higher price and anything that’s sold least at a very low price, in the Western world they do the opposite just that. Angkor wat entrance fee should be free of charge for every Children under the age of 12 for every tourist and should be free for every New Year week. If the government would offer these types of promotions, I’m pretty sure that tourism in Cambodia will have a positive outcome. And trust me, lowering entrance fee to Angkor Wat will create a lot more job for the people. And more jobs means more income, more taxes for the state and better life for the local.

ประเทศไทยก็เคยเป็นส่วนนึงของกัมพูชานับร้อยปี ถ้าไม่มีวฒนธรรมของกัมพูชา ส่งสัยป่านนี้ชนเผ่าไทอยู่ในป่าในเขาไม่วัฒนธรรม เจริญมาจนถึงทุกวันนี้หรอก ถึงยุคสมัยนี้แล้วเราต้องคิดไปข้างหน้าไม่ใช่คิดล่าหลัง ถ้าประเทศมีคนอย่างเยอะบ้านเมืองชิบหายแน่ แต่โชคดีมากที่มีไม่กี่คน ฝากไว้ให้เองคิด
