You are very Good at it sir, Reminds me of my Late Dad!! I am also a Fan of Our Great Legend Baba Yusuf Olatunji, God bless his soul and thanks for showcasing this Sir..
The interpretation of the drums and your ability to provide context to the lyrics totally transforms the listening experience. Super grateful. I look forward to you covering Haruna Ishola and Ayinla Omowura.
BabaLegba (and Ishola Kasunmu Sanni) have so many great stuffs, very hard for me to pick a favorite one. Just when you think one is the best, you re-listened to another of their production and you will quickly change your mind. O ma use Ryan kamikami ni o. :)
@@j.a.anibaba2439 I enjoy both of them . Baba legba was good with goje and S.aka was good with molo . Sikiru Ayinde copied 60% of his songs from S.aka and the rest 40% from Abibu Oluwa which baba legba also copied .

Do you know if Lefty Salami ever played with Abibu Oluwa especially as a drummer Also, could you do Lefty’s sound? I think it’s different and unique to Eko (Lagos Island)
Yes, Lefty Salami Balogun was the last lead drummer for Abibu Oluwa's band at the time of Abibu's death. The two other lead drummers prior to Lefty Salami Balogun were Bucknor and Mimilola Adebayo. I covered that topic in my earlier video clip, see it at this link: th-cam.com/video/6OWEQ1XaTMo/w-d-xo.html
Ajay, funny enough, I got this for decades, but I got talked out of it by the rural source; you may run into my other older clips where I used the "Ebiti pa,.." version already. Thanks for validating it for me.🙏
Once again , I enjoyed this sir. Keep them coming ..
Kudos....so much knowledge.
Wow, you're very resourceful. This is just amazing 👏 thank you for doing this. I hope to see more of Ebenezer Obey's work.

Sorry, growing up, I'm wasn't into the Ayinla Omowura; I enjoy sakara and highlife genres.
Wonderful!
This is my favorite omg.… I love it

You are too much my brother,I love this
Wow!! This is awesome❤
Thanks so much sir... i need to re-watch the video again with popcorn and pepsi..
To my understanding this volume 6 1969 album of baba legba was made to counter S.aka album L'ojo ti madam salamotu nse oku re .
I'm not able to speak on their local rivalry; not into their local rivalry. Personally, I enjoy the Yusuf Olatunji's productions.

I'm not a S.Aka-ist, therefore I can't validate the 60/40 correlation.@@igeadubi5883

It is a common lyrical stereotype line that Yoruba musicians use in eulogizing.
Thank you sir
