Sony Watchman TV FDL 3500 Repair

This one was shipped into me for repair. Quick check and its completely dead to the world, no power. no signs of life at all! Considering when it was manufactured, any guesses as to what it is?

I have a few Sony Short-wave travel radios I've been buying at yard sales that all need CAP jobs. Seems the AM radio reception fails first as FM comes in strong. I have to upgrade my soldering station 1st. Nice video!
