Ya know the feeling when there are some songs that betray you by sounding so good in the beginning and then something else makes it too much or too little??? Well thisssssss cover, YOOO! Let me tell you... This cover came thru! This was absolute perfection. It's the right amount of everything! I guess my sister and I are kinda used to some songs that give that betrayal feeling, that when this song came up on my spotify weekly, we "waited" for that let down. But instead, each second that passed, this cover kept getting better and better! Ed's original version is already good, but Ni/Co's ballad version was needed. I personally felt like I was on a romantic getaway with the love of my life - the one where it took 15 years + 3 tries to finally surrender to eachother's love. All of those years of trials, lessons, yearning and healing finally made the wait all worth it. And at 2:31 - 2:58 was that build up + climax. * crying happy tears, sniffs * I don't usually comment on videos, but after listening to this on my Spotify's Discover weekly, I felt the need to search this up on TH-cam & comment.
