Got the full album on CD of this with all the bonus tracks, the 30th anniversary edition got it in 2006, got face the music and on the third day with bonus tracks also, bought them all on the same day, September 2006 from hmv in Newport south Wales (the store is no longer there now 🏴
This was the version recorded before the final one that was released to my understanding, so it's not meant to be a replacement or anything like that, it's just so fans can hear an earlier version of the song from before it was intended to be released
