Wow... This is the song that cemented my legacy as a professional DJ at the Chez Paree nightclub in Atlantic City,New Jersey in 1975. After being in a jam packed nightclub on a Saturday night for an hour and nobody dancing, I asked the manager could I replace the DJ just so I could get the people dancing.Changin' was the first song that I put on the turntables and that song filled the dance floor and I kept it that way until the end of the night. The Chez Paree was the hottest nightclub on the East coast in 1975. That's how I got hired and the rest was history.

But of course! All the good R & B and Funk bands of the 70's and 80's 🎉 Some have been so popular they've been used in TV commercials! DJ Cassidy at the DNC convention in Chicago had a few on his playlist for the delegates and for viewers at home! With these good tunes in our heads("gonna play it in your earhole"), let's get the work and get people to the poles, early voting and other boxes that will help us maintain freedom in the U.S.!!!🗳🗳🗳🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷

Bass line and horns so funky and hypnotic it puts me in a trance, now and then 45 years. Dancing and swinging with bellbottomed bros with big fros' at the disco. On my way out I'll be groovin to this music on memory train. "Heaven must be like this.."

During 1975, when this was released, this song was inspirational to many of my generation. We graduated from high school, that year. A unique time, and the "BRASS" carried us to another reality. A big change to many of us.

My then girlfriend, Clara, & I would watch Brass Con practice sessions, summer nights 1976. Invited by a friend, Rick, who was backup bass player. Brass, randomly jam practiced, in the basement of one of the players home, just off Pennsylvania Ave, East New York, not far from Thomas Jefferson HS. It would be crowded with the local neighborhood kids, enjoying an awesome free concert preview........ Great memories for a then 19 year old!

Richard, you can't hear anything at 8:13, because it ends at 8:14. I hear a nice guitar riff at 8:03, and a bit beyond that point.

Changin' was a huge crowd puller at parties in those days. You'll hear guys humming "Alade Huwo" to the beat.

The reason why that generation played good music with INSTRUMENTS, was because they had inspiring teachers albeit strict, wanted the best out of their students be it, music, math etc.
