Got 3 Dreamcasts 2 PAL and a US one and a pretty hefty physical game library(PAL mostly, us Aussies have to settle for 50htz like you guys in the UK, plus I do like the cases of the PAL games much better, but I may be biased here). The PAL ones I've had for twenty years and one of the disc lasers died so I looked into a GDEMU. Got a v5.5 and a v5.15b and didn't really know the difference. Thanks for the heads up! Nice arcade sticks on the shelf by the way, that's my next toy I want!

Sorry you're wrong ... the 5.15, 5.1, 5.10 and 5.5 (including all the A B..) are the same. the clones just cranked up to the same number of the firmware. Also all uses pastic or metal SD-Connectors. The main difference between some is that there using a higher set FPGA, but sadly you can't connect this to a revisionnumber.

Is the Dream PSU or The replacement fans necessary? I'm not the most tech savvy person.

Dram psu is as a normal one will over heat with the gdemu in it, but you can also mod the original psu to not over heat by nodding it... Some how, the fan is not needed but its a great addition
