I love these Pedals you are testing that aren'tnecessarily mainstream brands. I would put out the NuoSimulation and the DC Simracing ones as well. They both are looking pretty fire and the NuoSimulation even isn't just some basic Heusinkveld clone, but rather trying some new things in it.

Thank you for the detailed Racewerk pedal review as I am considering purchasing a 2-part pedal set.
To be honest, I'm a bit surprised at the flickering signal on the throttle and also on the brake.
The flickering at the end points and the impulses can be overridden via the dead zone calibration in order to avoid active signal jumps here, but there also seems to be a flickering signal in the active measuring zones (should also be the case). To do this, however, you would have to hold the pedal a little longer within this measuring zone in order to be able to see this more precisely.
Unfortunately, this was not shown in detail.
With an actual 16-bit resolution, this flickering and signal jumps would probably become even more clearly visible.
However, the actual signal resolution seems to be below what is stated, why? Maybe I am misunderstanding something here too?
The lateral movement of the brake pedal in operation also surprised me a bit due to the massive construction and the advertised high-quality elements.
If a modification to the fastening elements is necessary after 4 hours of operation, then I am actually not so sure about long-term carefree use.
A manufacturer like Racewerk, which brings high-end pedals onto the market at a correspondingly high price, should also meet the high-end expectations of users.
Reading between the lines, I don't understand or feel any extraordinary euphoria regarding these pedals in this review.

So you've got a pedal with that is advertised as 16 bit resolution which is 65536 points of throw for each pedal, and yet their program shows12bit resolution with 4096 possible points, and yet it uses 775 to go from 0-100% on the accelerator Which really means you're using less than 10bit. Really other than the hydrolic feel, you're not really getting more accurate pedals. For the price they're charging, I would expect to see better accuracy and use of the 16bit data they claim to use.

@@wow35master I got sprints atm too, why do you want to change or more precisely, what do you think other pedals need to do better?
That's not offensive in anyway, as I am considering myself to upgrade but I wonder what other people with Sprints want from more expensive pedals.
For me it is the brake-feeling, it just seems not satisfying to me, like it is missing something in smoothness and consistency. No problems with acc/clutch though, I even believe the clutch won't be any better on any other pedals.
What are you thinking of to get? I am unsure if I should just switch do Ultimates or go a different route...

    Great Review as always.
I think after a certain point, with these kinds of equipment, we leave the Price/Performance boundries and cross over to Sim/Porn.
Now that we have crossed the boundies of simporn fetish with these pedals, they will need to upgrade to 7075 (I mean come on *rolls eyes* at 2000USD I think the price change of bar stock from 6061 to 7075 will not make a difference. Hell the CNC shop will love you for it as it is nicer to machine. also 7075 loves hard anodizing. also a thrust bearing setup with wave washers with bronz inserts to remove the play. Machine the chamfers after anodizing.. also the message should be cut after anodizing.
I guess the saying on motorcycles goes for sim racing as well. "Every seat has an ass for it to sit on"

    • @driflysh4597
      @driflysh4597 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Never read "simporn" before, but it exactly describes what's going on! :D
I do like 7075 as well, but what would be the advantage for this product? 7075 has same stiffness as 6061. Higher strength has no advantage as even 6061 won't brake. ;)
Our 7075 parts always become a little yellowish after anodizing. No problem for this full black style, but at least for natural aluminium finish I don't like 7075 for visible parts. But maybe our service provider does something wrong...

      @serdaraytemiz9978 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@driflysh4597 that is the interesting characteristics of Hard anodizing and actually a good way to check if what you get is truely what you want.
      7xxx gets brownish color
      6xxx gets black
      I dont know 1xxx , 2xxx and 5xxx series has been a long time.
I think at 5mm you can not break anything unless you made it out of cardboard ;)
like I said when you reach this level we are playing for show :) I use lasercut pedals that are completely unfinished (nasty really) my friend uses 3d printed one, my other friend uses a gamepad.
I have raced RC cars for 30 years RCporn had been the major sale points for rc cars and how companies made their money. It still is a major market. Barry uses HUDY allen wrenches. I have the same set with my name laser etched on them. I also 3 more sets from various companies. mind you they dont make you fast. they are just feel good toys that make you smile. These tools are more expensive than Snap-ons.
for fit and finish you may want to look at Arrowmax-RC.
what I am saying is after a while it becomes a "pleasure" to own these. for what its worth this is the only pedal set I have seen on Barry's reviews that checks the porn tick ;)

@@tilus75 I use a Bearing pedal. I think they are the way to go. They just need to be shimmed properly and you just need to make sure the fastners are not touching anything but the center of the bearing.
By the way from what I wrote do not get the wrong idea. I love the pedals. hell If I were still in US, I would have these on my rig and pestering you for other things to make :)
Sim racing is in its infancy compared to rc cars or real cars for that matter. SO I am just used to these high quality more expensive stuff.

    Hello,
I really enjoy and appreciate the attention to detail of your videos! Have you ever thought about giving advice on what parts to buy for a rig or doing something like a buyers guide?
I was just introduced to sim racing with a simple wheel and pedal and I was absolutely blown away. Now I want to start building my own rig and I really don’t know where to start.
I would love to see even a short video of you talking about your experience with your different parts and your personal opinion on them.
Thanks for the videos and I wish you all the best!

The S1 Pro's are a fine set of pedals. I use whatever fits my personal taste when it comes to Sim Racing gear. But, that is very subjective. Just because I use something as my daily driver does not mean that you will feel the same way. We all feel things a bit differently.

That design should be fairly easy to DIY. Those pressure transducers usually just take 5v and put out .5v-4.5v and are usually pretty linear in their response. They’d be easier to build than a load cell design.
