Balancing Act

We investigate layering in sketchbooks with a variety of techniques…including sgraffito, rubbing alcohol, stenciling, collage, and more…all the while balancing our composition with the principles of design, shapes, and color. We use ink, acrylic, and Neopastel.

I like to use BASICS Liquitex acrylic….I worked with 140 lb. Canson watercolor paper for this clip…Bristol board or card stock for the stenciling…Caran d’ache Neopastel for the oil pastel…and any kind of magazine paper for the collage aspects!
