Macrame is a technique of knotting a rope. There are many kinds of macrame knots that are known in the macrame world. In this video I will discuss 16 types of knots that are often used in macrame, which are as follows:

3. Square Knot : 02:09
4. Spiral Knot / Half Square Knot : 03:34
5. Half Hitch Knot : 05:43
6. Double Half Hitch Knot / Clove Hitch Knot : 07:47
7. Diagonal Double Half Hitch Knot : 10:22
8. Vertical Double Half Hitch Knot : 13:03
9. Reverse Double Half Hitch Knot : 15:46
10. Gathering Knots/wrapping knots : 19:00
11. Endless Falls Knot : 20:29
12. Friendship Bracelet Knot : 22:05
13. Berry Knot : 24:00
14. Snake Knot : 25:56
15. Josephine Knot : 27:24
16. Triangle Knot : 29:16
17. Outro : 30:58

I have just started to learn macrame and this video is an excellent tutorial to learn many different knots. I am doing just a few each day over and over again, then I will move on to the next few and so on. I am using thick round laces as a practice material, if I can get the knots to look neat with those, it will be even better when I use the proper cord (well that's my theory anyway lol).
