Just bought 3 days ago! Unfortunately my MSI has blacklight bleeding problem, otherwise on windows it is perfect. But on MAC (which I work on) I have the problem of Mac Os scaling. I will definitely upgrade to 4k monitors hoping not to have black light bleeding problems.
I bought it yesterday same problem when refresh to Fastest when turn Back to Fast. No problem for me i have got non e2 model too i luv msi monitors and devices i am happy with it
Great video. Really interested in getting this monitor to upgrade from my current 22 inch. How's the black level of the display? I know it's not OLED level of black, but is it any good? Keep up the good work! ✌🏻
If black levels are important to you and you don't have the budget for OLED, VA is definitely the better option. Deep black levels are NOT a strong point of LCD displays. It's OK on this one but nothing out of ordinary for an IPS.
Thanks for the review, i see the colors are great, how is the contrast ratio on this monitor? I know all ips the blacks are never true blacks but how does it compare to other ips? Would you say they look grey?
@MJGxo I know this is 2 months old but the only setting I changed was brightness to 90 and then I put on that enhanced colour mode or whatever it's called and it looks great for me
@Dixxon_ bit of a hard question, so I found it mostly enhances reds yellow blues and green, it makes them colours brighter more vibrant so they pop alot more and look more...colourful I guess?? In some games it can be a little bit over saturated, like for example I played the last of us part 1 on pc on this monitor and the opening scene when your running down the crowded streets with explosions and lights and reflections looks beautiful, I kept turning the premium colour on and off and the difference was night and day the fire looked more like fire the explosions were just breathtaking, but then on some parts of the game when it's like sunset and it looks beautiful but the orangy red light from the sunset made like joel and ellie look a bit too red, wheras with it off the lighting on their faces did look a bit more natural? But I've had this monitor for just over 3 months now and I've never turned the setting off, I've never seen something and been like "woah that looks completely wrong" overall I think the setting is fantastic and really does a great job at making certain colours pop and it's just a beautiful monitor
hi, can someone help me, ive recently purchased it but i am unable to project screen from my laptop through type c 100watt cable, idk why its showing "type c no signal"
It depends Competitive games= LG 27gp850 b Casual= msi mag 27aqrf qd e2 LG have really good response time but also have low contrast ratio even for being an IPS monitor and compare to the msi, msi have better colors because of quantum dot and 98% DCI P3 coverage not only that, also have good contrast ratio for being an IPS, the bad thing about msi one is that have a worst response time than the lg So with that make your decision which is better for your case

I just got this monitor and came to see what others think of it, this monitor is just awesome from refresh rate to the awesome colours you get with the different modes within the settings tab.👌
@@extortionmyname There is not much tbh. This one got 10hz higher refresh rate, a KVM Switch and a little bit better color coverage. Thats basically it
Amazed there are so few reviews on this monitor. The screen quality is good for IPS and it has a decent KVM. Hard to find something like that for a monitor at this price range. Quantum Dot helps make colors more vibrant. Nothing wrong with not having speakers so weird reviewers keep mentioning it as a con. They sound terrible most of the time.
For video editing (perfect color accuracy) as first priority and then gaming as second , you think I should buy this monitor: MSI MAG 274QRFW (I don't have this one in my country: MSI MAG 274QRF-QD E2 )
