A recommendation a while back was to try one of these style games on premium play. So I found Spartacus High and Mighty with the option and decided to give it a try.
After various recent expensive sessions on £2 stake I have kept this on £1. On this stake it triggers the premium play bonus wheel a bit lower than on £2, so wins over £2 (or possibly £2.50) take you into it. The premium bonus wheel gives you either a multiplier or free spins. Whatever it awards, you then get the option to gamble.
Having played around on these style games before I suspected that a smallish number of free spins wasn't going to achieve much, so I set out with the intention of getting a reasonable amount.

Don't play the super spins, they are a mugs punt. When you play that on £1 your pay table is that for a normal 50p stake. Really not worth it. I tried this game on 20p to see what it was like, 100 spins paid £17 odd. Its totally awful.

The problem with it is the wins are so small most of the time. I'll probably give it another chance, but not massively impressed either

The ones I was going in at this point didn't seem to enforce it particularly! To be fair, there was no one else in half the time.

Clueless. Take the 20 spins, see what you win then gamble for more spins. Never gamble spins first
