I'm considering picking up one of these. Your workout of the brakes was helpful. In reviews I've watched a few have mentioned that the brakes seem a little soft, but it looks like if you grab a handful it will slow you down pretty quick.

There are still a lot more other roads where the north-south expressways can’t access and these are the east-west routes...anything close to 400cc will be perfect.

the 400cc regulation is such a pain in the ass. In the USA if you can stay above the speed minimum which is usually 55MPH then you can ride on the express way.

natawa ako sa last part about 400cc issue... IMO, dapat meron lane for lower cc motorcycles sa mga highway tolls and it should be on the right most lane which is lower speed or minimun speed lane para mas mabilis makabyahe lahat...
I could be wrong but it wouldn't make sense for the ABS to activate at low speeds. Since ABS is to prevent skidding by intimitant breaking. Skiding isn't a hazard at low speeds and intimate breaking would only lengthen the amount of stopping distance. Though as I said I could be wrong.

i'm considering to buy one as my first "real" bike coming from an automatic scooter. power seems forgiving for a beginner. or would you recommend getting a smaller bike?
same situation here... I've went on a test ride with the Meteor 350 and the power is not that intimidating at all. Just gotta get used to the weight and clutch and all
@@jantrada8824 you already know its main differences from a scooter, getting used to the clutch and the weight (which is only a matter when maneuvering at very low speeds). Other than that, it's a very good, safe bike for beginners: good ABS front and back, torque and power aren't absurd and completely controllable, the chassis provide good stability at all situations. You rode it, so I think you know what I'm saying, haha! I'm going for a Continental 650, and the same applies when coming from a 20~30ish HP street bike. Good luck!

Dapat tlaga ibaba na nila ito. They keep clamping down on rules, meron pa ako nabasa statements from enforcers and officials na yung mga KTM 390’s daw dapat bawal sa expressway. Yet time and time again, they fail to explain why the 400cc rule remains relevant anyway. Slow, archaic, handbuilt jeepney are allowed, yet 350cc bikes that can go 0-60kph in 6 seconds cannot?

Got a chance to test ride one last week. Honestly, napaisip ako kung ito o yung interceptor kukunin ko. Ended with interceptor to make it on a highway. Pero sana tlaga 400cc na to. Perfect ang cruising.

Yun na nga, why 400cc and up only pag express way?? In Switzerland, as long as your motorcycle can run 80kmh and faster, doesn't matter if its scooter or not, you can access the Autobahn or Expressway...
