Awesome video. It inspired me to get my dad into this hobby. He's always loved music is into his 5.1 theater setup, but he listens to earphones (albeit BT) every night. He's retiring in the spring (75 yrs old) and I think it's the best time for him to start. I just ordered the Tangzu Waner Jade color with a Fiio JA11 for Xmas as well as a bunch of links to my favorite videos of yours and other iem reviewers. So, thank you for having this good content so I can use it as part of my gift! Cheers. And I loved the honey badger reference hahahaha
in 2025, including getting my own squig going, I am going to learn my way around inserting graphics. You will probably still see the handwritten notes tho. lol.
I absolutely adore Yu9 Yan. Been listening to it for 2 weeks now, and I just love how detailed and natural everything sounds. Never gets congested, sibilant, and most important, the bass hits when it matters.
Some suggestions: try the juzear clear for less than 40, super cable, nice pocket and very good mono dd driver. If not already tried, the hidisz MP145 on a high power source. The Magic, AFUL Magic One and the AFUL Explorer. Here you have some winners
Its comin'!!! I have been trying to get the top tens done and my last iem reviews of the year, but I promise the ft1 Pro is going to get done soon. I was a little skeptical that it would not have enough bass with the planar/open back config, but it does have enough. Not for true bassheads, but enough for most folks.
@BassDad8 pls compare them to edition xs and sundara. If you own them and maybe he400se. Look forward to your review. I do wonder how soundstage , detail retrieval , resolution compare to these headphones. It's very similar in price.
@@rob8311 yes, and no. I have a hard time saying one is better. And the differences are somewhat subtle. There is a difference between them in tuning, but enough to merit owning both? Not sure. I would, but I already do, so not exactly an unbiased opinion.
Thanks for the info! Will probably try other sets before going back to the Pro. Maybe can pick it up on a good sale 12 months from now on 11 11 in 2025.
Hey Chris... I don't know if I'm experiencing the ear gain you speak of with the OG T10. The OG already seems tamer than some of my other sets(KZ ZS10 pro, KZ ZAX, MP145, SM4) yet to my ears, the OG T10 is still an exciting, dynamic detail monster, sweet spot set with, imo, great instrument separation... Especially with Divinus Velvet Wide bores or TRI Clarion tips... Btw I hope I don't run into QC issues, with the Pro...☮️
@@Qboro66 great analysis. The ear gain is fine for my personal tastes, I’ve just gotten some feedback saying it benefits from EQ in that area. I would not change a single thing sonically speaking on the OG T10. They nailed it. Luckily, they nailed it again with the Pro. Just a bit different, but still magical.
Super early to this one. Really enjoyed this list. Not sure why I'm so against IEMs with switches. They just seem too gimmicky to me. Another thing to note with the YAN imo is it's a bit of a chameleon. While it can offer some straight up gorgeous bass, the bass knows its place if that makes sense. It'll never overwhelm a track. It always gives the amount of bass an artist intended. It really does a great job of showing off its traits across multiple genres.
Interested to see where SLT6 and DMA end up. Havent heard SLT6 but it seems like the most promising all BA iem under $500 for me, while DMA just completely mind fucked me for the first listen and i had to take a break as to wtf was happening to my ears
When did Delci pass Abyss? I remember watching your videos and the Abyss was filled with joy while the Delci made me think you expected more. I'm still scratching my head at the Delci over-hype. Too many other sets are just as good or better for less and waaaaaayyy less. ESPECIALLY the bass. And its not particularly great looking nor comes loaded in premium accessories. I know my thoughts on Delci are not popular ones.
Maybe not popular, but definitely appreciated. I kind of fell for the Delci for its overall balance and very smooth presentation. The Abyss could be considered the more "exciting" of the two. But for me, it did get a touch fatiguing after a while, especially at higher volumes. Your point is well taken though. I can see where you are coming from.
@BassDad8 gotcha! Abyss and Delci are different sounds for sure. As far as quality of that sound, I can't say one is better objectively. Subjectively, yea, we all have our preferences and fatigue is definitely an issue.
@@davegorthuis679 When I review the Que, I may insert it into the list somewhere. I have had them for over two weeks and I haven't even listened to them yet. Busy time. Look for the review before the end of the year and an update to the top ten values list if they deserve it, which they might...

Great list, I also enjoy the Titan S2s, this list (and review) made me interested in the Delci
Nice list. A guy likes his dose of planar.
Thanks for this. I knew the artti t10 pro had to be this #1
You best be listening to the SLT6 right now.

Is the T10 Pro worth a pick up if I already own the OG T10?

My library is mostly metalcore and post-hardcore, what would be your recommendation under $50?
Definitely the Kefine Klean!
