That flight issue happened to me as well but that was 15 years ago. I missed my flight and got another flight into Johannesburg. They had canceled my departure flight and checked me into the hotel at the airport and then put me on another flight the following day.

Awful services indeed. I hope you come back to SA the systems are controlled. What more can you expect from Uganda, it is the worse of their way. I will be travelling out UK after 13 years as a South African. My first African country to visit is Kenya, Uganda is not part of my bucket list to be honest. The people as well in the UK are so controversial. I am suspecting they wanted you to cough out some£££ some££. They have done that several times here when you need help from them. You must not try never, they should have tried to compensate with incentives. Gosh, thank you for this amazing vlog wow so educational. So many people are settling in SA for better and seamless services, it is not perfect but better than nothing.

As a developing country, you must compare South Africa with other developing countries in Asia, Africa, South America, the Caribbean and Middle East. You cannot compare it with first world countries like USA or UK. It's like comparing apples with oranges.

People are moving from UK or USA to South Africa, because first world countries are costly, and their pounds and dollars can go a long way in South Africa. South Africa gives them a standard of living, they could never afford in the UK or USA e.g. residential estates with high and advanced security together with amenities like golf courses.
