Almost to 1K man keep it up, I diagnosed my 300 swap project because your channel. It's such a blessing. Thank you. Now just to get some misc. PnP stuff from ya!!
I agree. If i were you, Id write a letter to Honda as this is the proper way to install it per Honda Engineers! Ive also done this over 50 times and have had zero issues as well as hundreds if not 1000s of other people.
How long does a stock sf crank normally last? I have a bbk tb 186, took it apart just to se show things were doing. Showing slight signs of lack of oil nothing bad caught it in time a quick hone good to go with new rings. I’m updating the oil pump, but was wondering if I should be replacing the crank? Do I necessarily need a forged crank if I don’t beat it? I’m at 5700 miles (1700on bbk) no play, but debating if I need to replace it or not. A forged one is a little out of my budget atm, but can make do if it’s absolutely necessary. Thanks!
If your not rev bombing and hitting the limiter all day every day, I really would worry to much about it. The factory defect cranks usually fail prior to 4k miles and they can fail when the bike is completely stock or modded. Just try Keep it under 10,000rpms. You dont make much power after 9500 to begin with anyways.
@@WickedGrom good info thank you! I found out the wrist pin location in the rod was worn… ugh guess I’ll be replacing it. I also never really rev it high because of the loss of power. The kit really shines at low rpms with stock head.
so what sucks for me is my piston blew under into the motor. so i just replacing a lot of parts. so i got the transmission built. but i cant find any photo of how you put those spacers in that the rod holds in. so i9m kinda stuck. what piss me off i had it all together the old so i could just build the new one and copy it. but my friend moved it and those fell off so im not sure how they were on. i found the part breakdown on revzilla to help me put mine together. but ya nowhere can i find the pic showing how to do the other.
I can't thank you enough for doing this. I want to rebuild my 2020 grom but I didn't know how.

Its a grind haha. thank you!
Silly question do you have the measurements of the little wooden box that you built? I need to do a crank this weekend.
8" wide by 9" long 2"x6" wood it looks like. I measured a crankcase the other day, as this seems to be the most asked question in all of these videos.
How would I install the crank if the bearings are still on my crank?
Do you know the casing bolt part number?
@wickedgrom did you rebuild the crank? Or buy the pre-built one
It comes pre-assembled from Honda besides the one bearing that goes in the case.
You should never use the inner race when installing a bearing, you will damage the bearing, use a socket that matches the outer race.

no u can pull on the inner bearing not push like he did with the 12mm socket he has it backwards.
The bearing in for my output shaft decided it didn’t want to be alive anymore. Is the process any different in the benelli 135?
The general process is the same. May look slightly different lol
how many miles are on your benelli?

what are the part numbers to the bearings?
Shoot me an email from the website and i can get them for you.
Same here. I just sent you an email on your website.

The forks? i believe the service manual has that info.
